Stephanie's POV
I looked at the giant mansion in front of me. It was bigger than the Harrisons' estate, and from what I know, it wasn't even the main residence of Graham.
The lush green bushes on either side, with a fountain at the center of the garden and an almost palace-like building. If we were in a medieval setting, this would be the place princesses would live. Wasn't it overkill for just one person to live in?
"Welcome, you must be the young madam? I am the housekeeper, Mary." An elderly woman walked out of the huge front door, greeting me by the stairs. It felt more like I had transmigrated into a fantasy novel.
I looked at the woman, in a clean maid dress like those from Victorian-century shows, her white hair in a tight bun. Her face showed clear signs of aging. I smiled and gave her a polite nod.
"Hello. Please call me Stepha—"
"Treat her just like you treat me, Mary." Cliff cut off my words, his arm wrapping around my shoulder and pulling me to his side.
