Arriving at math class, he looked around and spotted Emmett.
He walked over and sat down.
"What's up?" Emmett asked with a smile.
Silas opened his math book and nodded.
"Good."
Emmett nodded.
"Are you excited for tomorrow?"
Silas chuckled.
"Do you mean me destroying you at Mortal Kombat?"
Emmett leaned back with an exaggerated motion.
"Destroy me? You?"
Silas's confident smile didn't falter.
"Yeah."
Emmett heard this and started to laugh.
"Maybe last weekend… but not this. I've practiced."
Silas shook his head.
"It's no use, I'm just better than you, no amount of practice will change this."
Emmett patted Silas's shoulder.
"Let's see if you can keep up this shit talk when I'm man handling you tomorrow."
Silas rolled his eyes. Just then the teacher walked in. It's your lucky day Emmett. Saved by the teacher.
The class passed relatively smoothly if you ignore Emmett's delusional comments.
You ain't winning shit, buddy.
Silas walked towards his locker. He now had English…with Rosalie.
He grabbed the necessary books and headed for the English classroom.
When he arrived he didn't see Rosalie, so he walked towards the usual seat and sat down.
Actually his and Rosalie's relationship has been pretty good recently. Maybe they can't be called friends… but not far from it.
Silas frowned at the teacher that just walked in. Where is Rosalie?
A few minutes passed and the class started.
Just then Rosalie entered. She walked up to the teacher.
"Sorry I was late."
The teacher looked mildly surprised.
"No, it's fine."
Rosalie nodded and then walked towards Silas.
As she sat down Silas felt curious.
"Why were you late?"
Rosalie glanced over.
"I had to talk to the teacher about my grade."
Silas frowned.
"Wasn't it good?"
Rosalie looked displeased.
"What are you on about? Of course it was good. But she wanted me to work with a girl with a worse grade to help her."
Silas smiled.
"So you're going to carry her in the assignment?"
Rosalie frowned but nodded.
"Pretty much."
The teacher glared at them. Time passed and the teacher then handed out papers.
"Work two and two to answer the questions."
Silas turned to Rosalie.
"So… ?"
But before he could ask, Rosalie interrupted him and asked.
"I heard you and Alice were on a date yesterday."
"Yeah."
"How did it go?" Rosalie asked, she seemed curious for gossip.
Silas looked at her.
"I answered you." Rosalie said.
Sigh. Fine.
"What do you want to know?"
Rosalie smiled.
"Did you hold hands?"
Silas raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah."
Rosalie saw that and was surprised.
"Wait… did you two kiss?"
Silas smiled.
"Yes."
Rosalie took a deep breath and leaned back.
She had an excited expression on her face.
"So you two kissed?"
"Yeah." Silas responded.
Rosalie looked over then leaned in again.
"Then what?"
Silas frowned.
"What more do you think happened?"
Rosalie's expression froze then it faded.
"So nothing more?"
She sounded almost disappointed.
Silas felt exasperated. What more do you want!
"No."
"Ohh." Rosalie said.
"Let's answer these questions so the teacher doesn't get angry."
Silas felt irritated. Why are you acting like this?
"Alright."
They quickly started to answer the questions. The questions weren't difficult.
When the class ended they had just finished the last question.
"What's the point of this?" Silas complained.
Rosalie shook her head.
"I don't know."
The teacher passed by and took the paper, she quickly read over their answers and smiled.
"Great answers!"
They walked out of class and then separated. They both still had one class left until lunch.
And for Silas that was history.
He walked to his locker and grabbed all the materials for that class.
History was one of the most relaxing classes.
He entered the classroom and found his seat. The teacher was talking to some students about grades, Silas didn't feel like it was something he needed to worry about.
Class started and time passed, soon the class was over and it was time for lunch.
Silas walked to his locker and put his stuff inside, just when he closed the locker he saw Alice standing there.
Silas knew she was there but still played surprised.
"You need to stop with that or you'll give me a heart attack."
Alice chuckled.
"I know you weren't scared."
Silas smiled.
"A little."
Alice shook her head.
"Not even a little."
"Are you saying my acting skills are bad?"
Alice nodded.
"Let's go to lunch, I don't want to hear more of this hate."
Alice grabbed his arm and looked at him with her big watery eyes.
"No… don't think I will forgive you just because you play cute." Silas said.
Alice looked hesitant.
"Really?"
After a second or two Silas answered.
"Maybe."
Alice laughed.
"Come on."
They soon arrived at the cafeteria and met up with the rest of the Cullens and Kate.
"You're always the last to arrive." Ella said and frowned at them.
Alice smiled.
"Elegant people arrive late." Alice responded.
Silas chuckled.
Ella felt annoyed, it was like pouring water on a fish… completely unaffected.
"Let's just have a nice lunch, alright?" Silas said.
Everyone except Ella nodded.
Then they headed inside the cafeteria. And Silas as usual headed for the food line.
He wanted his apple and juice.
When he arrived at the cashier she had already prepared his usual, Kate's usual, and Alice's.
To be honest, he usually ate Alice's food.
He paid and grabbed his stuff, then Kate and Alice stepped forward and grabbed theirs.
"Let's head to the rest." They walked over to where the rest of the Cullens were seated.
"Come Silas, sit here." Emmett motioned towards the seat next to him.
Silas placed his juice on the table and sat down. Alice and Kate soon followed.
The lunch passed surprisingly smoothly and civilly. No arguments, no fights.
As lunch was over they all headed to their own classes.
When Silas sat in his seat and zoned out, he got this bad premonition like something was going to happen.
He just couldn't put his finger on it.
When he arrived at his locker to grab what he needed for his last class he realized it was biology.
At least this was kinda chill.
He arrived at biology earlier than Kate… how? That is still a mystery.
But she wasn't far behind, a minute later she arrived. She hurried towards him and sat down.
They started their usual talks about this and that.
"Have you convinced your sister to let us have a night to play poker?"
Kate shook her head.
"She said she was going to think about it."
Silas nodded.
This class passed smoothly as well. As before he knew it the class was over.
"Finally this day is over." Silas yawned while packing up his stuff.
Kate nodded.
"This day has been really long and boring for some reason."
Silas hummed in agreement.
"Let's put the stuff in our lockers and head to the parking lot."
With that they walked out.
