The massive, fire-red ruler of the earth let out a powerful roar.
The sound shook both the sky and the ground. Along with its cry, the intense sunlight of the Desolate Land poured down.
The sky, which had been covered by the Primordial Sea, began to change. Near Primal Groudon, the rain clouds quickly dispersed.
Desolate Land!
With the arrival of Primal Groudon's intense sunlight, Primal Kyogre's Primordial Sea could no longer control the sky on its own.
The sky was split into two distinct sides, black and white. On one side, the Primordial Sea brought a heavy rainstorm. On the other, the Desolate Land brought fierce, scorching sunlight.
"Desolate Land… what terrifying weather," Alder said.
He felt the stinging, scorching sunlight striking his body. He licked his dry lips. The heat was so intense that it felt like standing in a vast desert, exposed to a cruel midday sun.
But the changes did not stop there.
"Why does it have to be now!" Wallace yelled.
His face turned pale with frustration. His Mega Gyarados was about to strike Mega Metagross with an Aqua Tail.
However, the moment the Desolate Land's sunlight washed over the attack, the water on the Aqua Tail instantly turned into white steam and evaporated. The Aqua Tail had no power!
That is correct. Just like the Primordial Sea, Water-type moves dry up and cannot be used under the Desolate Land weather.
Since Aqua Tail failed, Mega Metagross countered immediately. It swung a Thunder Punch and slammed Mega Gyarados hard.
Electricity crackled everywhere. Mega Gyarados let out a cry of pain as the punch sent it flying.
It was lucky that Mega Gyarados lost its Flying type after Mega Evolving. Otherwise, with a four-times weakness to electricity, Colress's Mega Metagross might have paralyzed it—or knocked it out instantly—with one hit.
Even so, Mega Gyarados's body twisted from the impact. That Thunder Punch was incredibly heavy.

Black Kyurem let out a loud roar.
Blue electricity surged in from a distance at high speed. It was the Electric-type move, Fusion Bolt!
Primal Kyogre was startled. It had forgotten about Black Kyurem. It immediately moved back to dodge, but it was a bit too late.
"Protect!" Damian shouted.
The figure of Dark Mewtwo appeared instantly in front of Primal Kyogre. A green Protect barrier rose up.
Boom!
Fusion Bolt slammed into Dark Mewtwo's Protect barrier. Terrifying electricity scattered in all directions.
Purple flames flickered in Dark Mewtwo's eyes. Its arms strained as it held up the barrier. But this was not easy. The impact was unbelievably heavy!
Black Kyurem's power was simply too high. Dark Mewtwo could feel the Protect barrier trembling, as if it might shatter at any second.
"Techno Blast!" Damian ordered his Shiny Genesect.
Shiny Genesect appeared at Black Kyurem's side. It lowered its head, and the massive cannon on its back lit up with an icy-blue glow.
A massive Techno Blast shot violently toward Black Kyurem. Because it was equipped with the Chill Drive, the move had switched to the Ice type.
There was no choice. Genesect only has four types of drives: Douse, Burn, Chill, and Shock. Among them, the Shock Drive's Electric-type power would be resisted by Black Kyurem, so Damian chose the Chill Drive.
Boom!
The Ice-type Techno Blast exploded against Black Kyurem's body. Thick frost spread and began freezing over it.
However, in the next second, Black Kyurem shattered the ice on its body. Its fierce gaze fell upon Shiny Genesect. Was it really using Ice-type power right in front of Black Kyurem?
Black Kyurem bellowed. A thick beam of freezing light shot out toward Shiny Genesect.
"Avoid it!" Damian yelled.
Shiny Genesect dodged immediately. It narrowly escaped the Ice Beam.
"Origin Pulse!" Damian ordered again.
Primal Kyogre let out a cry. Several blue spheres of water formed in front of it. It was the Water-type move, Origin Pulse!
Kyogre did not have many moves that could hit Black Kyurem effectively. Although it had Rock Slide, which was super effective, it was a physical attack.
While Ice Beam and Blizzard would deal normal damage, Primal Kyogre was not an Ice type. With its Same Type Attack Bonus and the boost from the rain, the damage from Origin Pulse was as strong as Blizzard. Plus, it was a better move for clashing.
The water beams from Origin Pulse shot out, crashing toward Black Kyurem.
Black Kyurem did not hesitate and unleashed Blizzard. A violent storm of ice and snow covered the sky, howling as it swept in.
Origin Pulse and Blizzard collided in mid-air. Water and ice smashed into each other repeatedly, and cold air spread everywhere. Because the rain was still falling, the freezing wind from Blizzard turned the rain into falling hail.
However, at that moment, a massive white beam of light shot up from the ground. Its target was Primal Kyogre. It was the Grass-type move, Solar Beam!

"I warned you! Human, do not interfere in my battle!"

White Kyurem let out a loud roar.
It raised its body higher. A burst of fire suddenly swept across its entire body. In an instant, it changed into its White Kyurem form.
White Kyurem raised its head and let out a domineering roar. The turbine at its tail lit up with intense, icy-blue energy.
Its entire body began to glow with an icy-blue light. A mist of freezing air spread out, instantly chilling the heavy rain. In the dark rain clouds, it was not just rain falling anymore. Crystal-like snowflakes began to fall too. It had turned into sleet.
There was no doubt. This move by White Kyurem had changed the weather!
"What is this?" Damian asked, surprised.
This was not White Kyurem's signature move, Ice Burn.
"Glaciate?"
White Kyurem let out another violent roar.
An icy-blue ring of freezing air burst outward from White Kyurem like a circular shockwave. It swept across both the sky and the ground!
This was indeed the Ice-type move, Glaciate! It was Kyurem's signature move! Normally, after transforming into the White form, Glaciate would change into Ice Burn. Yet this Kyurem could still use it. And the power and range were incredible!
"Reshiram! Rayquaza!" Damian shouted.
Reshiram immediately raised a Protect barrier in front of Damian. Rayquaza moved even faster. It dashed behind Damian and also raised a Protect barrier.
Dark Mewtwo, Primal Kyogre, and Shiny Genesect all used Protect as well.
The sound of freezing was endless. The entire sky was freezing at a speed visible to the naked eye. The ice ring of Glaciate expanded outward at an unbelievable speed.
Primal Groudon had just broken free from the ice, but it was hit by the freezing air of Glaciate before it could even roar. It was frozen once again. Giovanni, hiding behind Mega Beedrill's Protect, saw this and remained speechless.
On the other side, Wallace had been captured again by Colress. He felt humiliated. When he saw the freezing air of Glaciate spreading toward him, his face turned white with fear.
Because his hands and feet were tied, he could not even take out a Poké Ball right now!
Meanwhile, Alder was in a desperate situation. Colress's Genesect and Mega Metagross were attacking him. Wallace looked around and saw that Leon was the closest to him.
"Leon! Save me!!" Wallace let out a heart-wrenching cry for help.
Hearing Wallace's cry, Leon paused. He turned his head to look, and he almost could not keep a straight face.
