Chapter 21

The Crew's Bounties

Arthur slowly opened his eyes, having finally returned to his previous place.

He was sitting alone inside his cabin on the ship, and silence wrapped around the space as though time itself had not moved since his departure. He rose unhurriedly, his body responding with an unfamiliar smoothness, as if every movement had become lighter and stronger than before.

It has been nearly seven months since I left… and now I have finally returned.

My strength did not increase only because of distributing points, but because of the continuous and harsh training I went through with Song.

He let out a quiet breath,

then summoned his personal window.

| Name: Arthur Narin

Age: 18 years

Level: 130

Strength: 3500

Agility: 2000

Stamina: 1200

Intelligence: 100

Devil Fruit: None

Haki: None

Personal Points: 5000 |

A clear improvement… more than I expected.

Arthur smiled with genuine satisfaction at his remarkable growth. Then his gaze shifted to another option.

Storage.

The storage window opened before him, revealing what it contained.

Clothes he had bought from Song's world before the mission ended, a healing elixir, and two new rewards.

A red scroll.

And a glowing reward box, emitting a faint radiance.

The scroll must be a technique… and the box is likely a legendary reward or something close to it. Even my points have increased… I truly completed this mission successfully.

He hesitated for a moment, then closed the storage window.

His desire to open the rewards was strong, but he looked at his body again and smiled faintly.

A bath first.

He glanced through the small cabin window at the ship.

The scene looked familiar and warm.

Luffy and Usopp were trying to catch fish, their laughter breaking out in bursts.

Nami sat near the orange tree, carefully tending to it as usual.

Sanji was in the kitchen, the aroma of food drifting outward.

Zoro trained without pause, his sword slicing steadily through the air.

Arthur wanted to step out to them, but he stopped.

His body had changed greatly; his muscles were more defined and hardened, his black hair had grown long, and his beard had grown noticeably.

Appearing like this would shock them.

He quietly entered the bathroom.

Despite the difference in time between the two worlds, Arthur had traveled to Song's world with both his soul and body. There, nearly six full months had passed for him.

His body had matured, grown stronger, and his features had changed. If he stepped out now without fixing himself up, the difference would be shocking.

After several minutes, he emerged from the bathroom, his beard completely shaved, his hair tied back with a small black cloth.

His features were familiar again, yet the power within him was entirely different.

He put on his new clothes, very similar to what he used to wear in Song's world.

He had bought many things there that he felt would benefit him in the future, and he had noticed that the system automatically adjusted his money according to the world—from Beli in the world of One Piece, to the currency of Song's world, and now back to Beli once more.

He stepped out of his room—

Before he could move further, a scream rang out.

"Arthur! Zoro! Luffy!"

It was Nami's voice.

Everyone immediately jumped and rushed toward her.

"What's wrong, Nami?"

Luffy asked, looking at her with concern.

Nami's body trembled slightly. Then she pulled out three posters from the newspaper and held them up before them.

The first:

Monkey D. Luffy

Bounty: 150,000,000

The second:

Roronoa Zoro

Bounty: 130,000,000

The third:

Arthur Narin

Bounty: 120,000,000

The bounties on the three of their heads had risen.

But what truly drew attention…

All the posters were marked "Dead or Alive,"

except Arthur's.

Dead only.

Luffy grinned widely as he admired his bounty, and Zoro showed silent satisfaction.

As for Arthur, he merely wore a calm smile, his eyes holding neither shock nor loud joy.

After brief conversation and scattered laughter, the ship arrived at Loguetown.

The island where the former Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, had been executed.

They all agreed to return to the ship before the end of the day, then each went their separate way.

Nami to buy clothes.

Sanji to purchase food and cooking supplies.

Usopp in search of new sniper goggles.

Zoro wanted two new swords.

Luffy rushed off excitedly to see the execution platform of the Pirate King.

As for Arthur…

There was nothing in particular he sought.

He wandered alone through the streets of Loguetown, breathing the air, watching the people, and savoring the moment.

"Just a quiet time… that's all I want right now."
