Chapter 254 - 252

Chapter 252

Planning and Creation

Arthur finished speaking after explaining his entire plan, making his idea of creating a guild clear to both Sung Jin Woo and Yoo Jin Woo, as well as the path he intended to take to establish the strongest guild in the world. He hid nothing, speaking confidently and clearly about his vision and future goals.

Neither of them hesitated for even a moment, agreeing to join without any discussion.

Sung said calmly:

"Are you going tomorrow, Arthur?"

Arthur raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Where?"

Sung answered:

"Because of the ant invasion, people didn't have enough time to hold a proper funeral for those who died. But now, after the ants have been completely dealt with, the funeral will be held tomorrow."

A brief silence followed before Arthur said:

"All right, I'll go. I'll see you tomorrow, Sung. We might find the old man Go Gun Hee there and ask him about establishing the guild and everything related to it."

Arthur bid farewell to the two of them and then returned home, while his mind had already begun diving into his complicated calculations.

He stood by the window, staring into the darkness stretching before him, and began thinking aloud:

"I need a place, money, support, and members… in order to establish my guild."

He paused for a moment before continuing steadily:

"The place is available. I bought this house before, along with all the surrounding land extending for two thousand meters. I've also taken care of the guild building from the very beginning."

He took a deep breath, as though his thoughts were flowing smoothly one after another.

"As for money, I have more than enough thanks to the missions I've completed. I have no shortage in that regard."

His gaze shifted slowly, as though he were organizing his thoughts one by one.

"Support? I have the support of Sung Jin Woo, Yoo Jin Woo, and perhaps the old man Go Gun Hee as well."

Then he continued in a decisive tone:

"As for the members… for now, I'm the guild master. Sung Jin Woo will be my right hand, the first assistant, and Yoo Jin Woo will be my left hand, the second assistant."

He fell silent for a moment, then narrowed his eyes slightly.

"Only one question remains…"

"I need to ask Go Gun Hee about everything I need to establish the guild."

His tone grew firmer, determination reflected in his voice.

"The task is clear: establish a guild and make it the strongest in the world."

He shook his head.

"It's not about me being the strongest… it's about my guild being the best and strongest in the entire world."

Arthur finished his thoughts, then took out a cigarette and calmly lit it. Smoke slowly rose as he leaned against the window, his eyes fixed on the dark sky.

"I just hope… I can get some time."

A calm voice came from behind him:

"What are you talking about, Master?"

Arthur turned around and found Kyou standing behind him with his usual composure.

Arthur said without surprise:

"I have to establish a guild, Kyou."

Kyou answered confidently:

"That's easy, Master. You have the money, the place, and the support."

Arthur slowly nodded.

"I know… but there are several problems."

Then he lowered his voice slightly.

"The most important of which are the Great Ancients and the Outer Gods."

Kyou asked seriously:

"What do you mean?"

Arthur took a deep drag from his cigarette, then raised his gaze toward the sky.

"I told you before… my battle against them began a long time ago."

A heavy silence followed before he continued:

"But there's one thing that's extremely difficult…"

He paused for a moment, then said clearly:

"Time, Kyou. Time is the real problem."

Question marks appeared on Kyou's face.

Arthur continued:

"When I fight the Great Ancients in their own worlds, time flows differently from Earth."

"When I fought Atlatl Nasha, the battle and my conversation with Cthulhu lasted for only about thirty minutes… but when I returned, I found that six months had passed here."

His tone grew more serious.

"I only have three and a half years now to establish the guild and make it the strongest in the world."

He lowered his voice, concern creeping into his words.

"But what if I fight one of the Great Ancients in the future, and time moves faster there? What if an entire year passes here?"

"Or what if a battle happens tomorrow, and I win… only to return and find that three years have passed?"

He took a deep breath.

"How am I supposed to complete the mission like this, Kyou?"

Then he added heavily:

"Cain told me that the mission's punishment will not be reduced or overlooked."

"And the punishment… is extremely harsh."

Arthur finished speaking and extinguished his cigarette. He then closed the window and went to sleep.

---

The following morning, Arthur and Sung Jin Woo stood at the funeral of the victims of the Jeju Island raid. Silence and solemnity hung over the place, while grief and respect mingled together.

After the ceremony ended, Arthur met the old man Go Gun Hee.

The latter spoke directly:

"So, you want to establish a guild?"

Arthur answered:

"Yes."

Go Gun Hee smiled.

"There's no need to ask me. You're an S-Rank hunter now. All you have to do is contact the Hunters Association, and we'll take care of all the procedures."

Arthur said in relief:

"That's good. Thank you, old man."

Go Gun Hee smiled, then received an urgent message that caused him to leave to deal with it.

Arthur turned to Sung.

"Shall we go back?"

Sung answered:

"Yes, there's nothing for us to do here now."

The two moved forward, but a foreign man stopped them and began speaking to Sung in English.

The man was Adam White, or Xia Ma, one of the members of the American Hunters Association. He wanted to speak with Sung about Xia Ma, and it seemed that Sung's intervention during the Jeju Island raid had attracted everyone's attention.

Arthur looked at Sung.

"Do you need anything?"

Sung shook his head.

"No, thank you, Arthur. I'll handle it. Why don't you return to the guild first?"

Arthur smiled calmly, then mounted his motorcycle and rode away.

'Now the real mission has begun.

I had already prepared the guild building ever since I received the mission, so the money is available. After the explanation, it turned out that I don't need any complicated permits. Just a name, and contact with the Hunters Association… and the initial procedures are complete.'

He was standing in the middle of suffocating traffic, lost in his thoughts, when he muttered:

"What is happening up ahead? And why…"

He raised his head and looked forward.

"Why do I feel a faint aura coming from there?"

At that moment, his phone rang.

"Old man Go Gun Hee?"

"Arthur… there's a Gate."

A brief silence followed.

"Oh… do you want me to take care of it?"

"Yes."

Arthur smiled calmly, then stood on the motorcycle seat.

"Dark Wings."

Darkness gathered powerfully around his body before bursting outward slightly, forming two beautiful wings of darkness behind his back.

He said with a crooked smile:

"I'm feeling a little bored."

He ended the call and took off, flying toward the Gate.

He hovered in the sky, calmly looking at it.

"Oh… look at that Gate."

The police surrounded the area to keep people away, with several staff members also present.

Without any hesitation, Arthur shot forward at high speed and entered the Gate, leaving behind his phone, which fell into the hands of one of the staff members.

"Huh?!"

"Can you hear me?!"

"President?!"

The employee raised the phone in confusion, realizing what had happened.

And at that moment, the Gate before everyone's eyes changed from blue… to a dark crimson, the color of blood.
