Elora looked at the family, then at Liara and said:
"I healed his internal injuries and serious burns, but some burns remain on his body."
Then she turned her gaze to her mother.
"Now all we have to wait for is for him to wake up."
Then the family entered and saw Ryan asleep on the bed with burn scars all over his body.
Eliana approached her sleeping son, hugged him, and began to cry when she saw his condition.
Moments later, there was a knock at the door.
"Commander"
It was Jeffrey, and he was holding a crystal ball.
Liaraimmediately recognized the ball.
"Jeffrey, why are you carrying a Recording ball with you?"
Jeffrey looked at the ball.
"This..."
Then he reached out to give the ball to his captain.
"The truth is, I was going to get rid of it. I didn't want you to see what was recorded on it."
Liara looked at him in surprise.
"What do you mean?"
"I found this ball in the same place where we found your brother."
The whole family looked at Jeffrey, their eyes wide.
"You mean..."
Jeffrey interrupted her
"Yes, Commander. They recorded everything that happened there and left."
Then Eliana stood up and walked towards Jeffrey, trembling.
"Turn it on. I have to see what happened to my son."
Jeffrey looked at his commander.
Liara didn't know what to do.
'Do I have to destroy the ball? I saw how Ryan was.'
When she found Ryan badly injured, it meant they had tortured him. She didn't want her mother to see it.
Eliana noticed Jeffrey looking at Liana and waiting for her orders, so she looked at her daughter and said firmly
"I need to see what happened to him and find out why they kidnapped him."
Then the father also stepped forward, looked at Liara, and said,
"Turn it on."
Liara thought,
'I think it's better for them to see how cruel the world is.'
Then she nodded to Jeffrey to play the video.
Jeffrey placed his hand on a ball and struck it with his weakest technique using his water element.
But the ball wasn't damaged; it absorbed the element. That's how it worked—it was a ball that absorbed elements formed by the spark.
But if the spark used is larger than what the ball can withstand, it will be destroyed.
Now Jeffrey can make the ball show what was record with it
Then, after a few moments, a small blue screen appeared from the ball, and people began to appear on the screen, and voices could be heard from the ball.
Eliana put her hands over her mouth and screamed when she saw her son tied to a chair in a horrible state.
Darwin hugged his wife.
"Should we stop?"
Eliana bit her lip and replied,
"No, I have to watch."
Then the family watched as they tried to find out where Mira was from Ryan, and then they all looked at her.
Mira was surprised.
"I...I don't know them, I swear."
Then immediately afterward, they heard screams from the screen and saw how Ryan was burned, and then how he said he didn't care about his older sisters.
The three sisters were surprised. They knew Ryan was cold towards them; now they understood why he simply didn't care about them, just as they didn't care about him during their absence.
Then they saw how Ryan was brutally beaten. The sisters were furious because they couldn't do anything. They had left home to become stronger and protect the family, but now they were witnessing what they couldn't prevent.
But then, upon hearing Ryan's sudden laughter, everyone was taken aback. They heard:
"I will kill you."
"No, no, I will not only kill you, but before that I will kill your entire family and I will destroy your kingdom. I will wipe out all your people."
"I will kill you, you bastards! I will make you regret messing with me! I will make you regret trying to kill my sister! I will destroy you all"
Celine was the first to speak.
"I think it's the first time he's made an expression like that."
Then the father replied,
"No, it's not the first time. I saw that expression before last year."
Everyone looked at him, then he took a breath and continued:
"Last year, there was a kid about Ryan's age who hit Ari, and then Ryan beat him up. That day, I saw this expression on his face. If I hadn't stopped him, he would have killed the kid with all the beating."
Then they turned their attention back to the crystal ball and saw Ryan lifted off the ground with a hole beneath him from which light shone.
