Chapter 006: Terrible Day to Be Peter Parker
Today was a terrible day to be Peter Parker; he had already been out there being the friendly neighborhood hero for a while, but only today did he feel this defeated.
"Seriously, guys? 8 x 1? Is that fair?" He commented tiredly. He wasn't even in the mood to joke, because he knew… He was going to get beaten, and he was going to get beaten badly.
Doctor Octopus, Electro, Kraven, Mysterio, Vulture, Sandman, Lizard, and Goblin. All eight were spread out around him like a pack of thirsty hyenas.
"It's your fault, you insect… You're very slippery, but don't worry, today is the day you die!" Lizard roared.
"You know the Avengers are around, right? Can you defeat me before they get here?" Spider-Man didn't have the confidence to defeat all eight alone, but running? Running is easy.
Spider-Man's lenses narrowed.
Well, that's a lie. If Spider-Man stopped holding back, not even these eight together could defeat him, but he's a good Samaritan, he won't do that.
"The Avengers are busy today… After all, they have a fish problem to deal with."
'Fish problem…? Namor?' Peter thought about the man who keeps hitting on Sue Storm and who also had some kind of 'past' with her, the cliché love triangle. His friend Reed is married to her, but Sue feels attracted to Namor's noble and intense nature. Peter still remembers helping Reed when he found out about the affair between the two.
Peter stopped thinking there; this wasn't the time to gossip about his friend's life. He needs to get out of here, or defeat them, whichever comes first.
"It's not just the Avengers out there, guys."
"No one's coming, Spider-Man." Goblin laughed.
His spider-sense activated, and immediately he jumped back. The next moment, an arrow pierced the spot where his head had been.
"Stop talking, just kill him." Kraven growled. "Remember, don't fall into his rhythm."
Kraven's warning made all the villains become more serious. After all, everyone here had already fought Spider-Man and lost to him at some point. They know very well how talkative he is.
"Hahaha, I'm in danger." He joked with a mix of truth and humor, then crouched into his classic stance.
"If you think I'm going to lose without fighting, you're very mistaken."
"Kill him!" Goblin shouted.
"Owaaaaaaahhh!" Everyone attacked the poor spider.

Far from Oscorp, 2 minutes before arriving at the location, Adrian, who was swinging toward the building, stopped when he heard someone shout.
"Hey you, emo face with daddy issues!"
"… Wade?" Adrian landed on the water tank while looking at the red-dressed menace.
"That's right, baby. It's me!" He pointed at himself. "What a sexy voice! Did you get demon treatment? Damn, I like it!"
"What are you doing here?"
"What else? They're bullying my Spidey! Oh boy, nobody bullies my Spidey! Me and him are suit brothers!"
"And you, black-face guy, who are you?"
"You can call me Venom."
"Venom? That big muscular black guy? The one who likes to eat heads with his big—"
"Okay, okay, shut up, or the rating will go to +18!"
"Sweetheart, my existence is +18! You don't have Deadpool without censorship, she's already my roommate!"
[He's annoying.]
'Yes, but he's a reliable friend… Most of the time.'
[Shall we absorb him?]
'Hell no.' Adrian immediately denied it. The fact that Wade's healing is powerful, but the line between healing factor and cancer is very thin, not to mention that… If this is the Wade from the comics, he was directly cursed by Thanos with immortality. In other words, touching him is the same as touching Death's simp. It's better to leave that purple potato alone.
"Come on, black guy! Lift me up and let's go help my Spidey!"
"Call me Venom, Deadpool. If you call me that, I'll get canceled, a bunch of purple-haired fat girls will pop out of nowhere! It looks like they're produced in automatic factories! They're a threat to sanity!"

Adrian snorted, then a black hand came out of his back and grabbed Deadpool.
"… What are you doing?"
"What do you think?" The hand moved away for a considerable distance.
"Seriously…? You're not going to carry me like a princess? I was expecting VIP treatment!"
"Super Hero Land, Deadpool, you know the moves, let's go!"
"Damn, my knee is going to suffer. Curse Ryan who popularized that line!"
...
"Cough." Spider-Man fell to the ground while coughing up blood. His iconic red suit was completely torn, his mouth was visible along with half of his face, several cuts across his body and an arrow in his thigh. He looked miserable.
The villains weren't completely unharmed either. Doctor Octopus was missing one of his tentacles, Kraven was missing a tooth, Mysterio had a broken helmet, and Vulture was missing a wing.
The only ones unharmed were Electro, Sandman, Lizard, and Goblin.
Even completely covered in wounds, Spider-Man still struggled to stand up. "One… More… Time." His vision wavered, his senses didn't respond, but he was still standing.
"Your persistence is commendable. It saddens me to kill worthy prey in this way, but in a way it is an honor for you. It took 8 villains to kill you." Kraven took the knife from his chest as he approached him.
"Last words?"
Peter found himself facing death. The only thought he had was, 'I'm sorry, Aunt May, for having to leave you… I should have asked Gwen out instead of wasting my time with Mary Jane.'
In truth, he had many regrets. He was also worried that when he died, these villains would see his identity and decide to go after his family, but… Peter Parker is a hero. If he dies, he will die smiling!
"None." Peter smiled with a face full of blood.
Even being his enemies, they fell silent before Spider-Man's attitude. After all, have they ever bragged about doing the same? Few can face death and smile.
"Goodbye, Spider-Man."
Suddenly the atmosphere was broken when everyone heard—
"SUPEEEEEEER HEROOOOOOOOO!" Kraven immediately jumped back when he felt killing intent directed at him.
Booom!
"Landing!!"
Deadpool, the red menace, landed in front of Spider-Man with one knee on the ground and his guns pointed at Kraven.
"Damn, my knees!"
"W-Wade…"
When Wade's healing factor healed his knee and he looked at the man, Wade's eyes widened, then he smiled.
"Ara~! Is this the Waku, Waku moment when you fall in love with me?" He blew a kiss to Peter, a heart flew toward Peter, and Spider-Man just laughed.
"You're a bastard, Wade. But thanks for coming…" His consciousness began to fade. Before losing it completely, he heard another boom, and in his field of vision he saw someone wearing the same suit as his, but completely black with a white spider symbol.
Another Spider-Man, and he was not a friendly neighborhood one like him. He could see it; his instincts screamed it.
"Always, Spidey. And as you can see, I didn't come alone."
"… Just don't kill them…" Peter fainted.
Deadpool caught him. "Sorry, Spidey… But my mood isn't that good today."
The black-suited Spider-Man walked up to Peter and touched him. Visibly to everyone, Spider-Man's wounds began to heal. Purposefully, he left him unconscious; he didn't want him interfering as a good Samaritan.
Even so, none of the villains dared to move. Their instincts screamed danger everywhere.
The merc with a mouth is already known; everyone knows his only moral code is when he decides he has one.
And that black Spider-Man gave an extremely bad feeling, like a predator staring at a bunch of tasty prey.
Kraven felt it the most.
'An Alpha predator… The cub fell, and the father came to rescue, huh.' He held his crossbow and prepared himself, his eyes glowing gold.
[Spider-Man genes acquired!] Venom confirmed when he finished healing Spider-Man.
Feeling his strength growing, he couldn't contain his murderous excitement fueled by Venom. In fact, he didn't even want to contain it!
"Venom, what do you think?!"
"DEATH!!" Venom's and Adrian's voices overlapped.
"THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT, BABY!"
This Spider-Man's mouth opened, revealing a lot of sharp teeth. "No one leaves here alive!"
Venom's roar was heard, making everyone unconsciously take a step back. Four tentacles came out of his body and headed toward them.
"Let's fucking goooo!" Deadpool grabbed his adamantium katanas and jumped toward Kraven, engaging the hunter in combat.
"You're going to pay for what you did to Spidey, Hunter!" Spider-Man might be the only guy who can make Deadpool stop joking.
"Ugh." Kraven defended himself and jumped back. Immediately he tried to block, but the adamantium katanas simply cut through his dagger.
"MORE, MORE, MORE!" Deadpool was a killing machine, never getting tired. Infinite pressure, nonstop slashes.
"Damn you, freak!" He tried to run and throw traps, but Deadpool didn't care. He just ran after him. Wounds meant little to him; any injury would heal quickly anyway.
And just like Spider-Man, when the merc with a mouth stops joking, it means things are extremely bad.
"Weak die first!" Adrian jumped toward the eight without caring about their number. His tentacles wrapped around the heads of Doctor Octopus, Vulture, Mysterio, and Lizard.
If before, with Spider-Man's strength, it was already easy to kill them, now with Spider-Man's strength boosted by Venom… They were like watermelons to Adrian.
"Wait, wait, I surrender! I surrender! I swear, I can change!" Vulture tried to beg, but Venom didn't care. "Go sit on the devil's lap, you worm. I'll send the others to keep you company."
"AHHHHHHH!"
Redemption? Second chances? Leave that to Disney princesses who like to give villains second chances! Like my good friend Lelouch said: Only those prepared to be shot can shoot!
How many times have they gone to prison? How many times have they escaped? How many innocents died because of them!? The number is large, and I don't care about any of that. After all, if you put it on paper, Wade himself deserves to go to hell! The important thing is:
This cat-and-mouse chase is inefficient! EXTREMELY INEFFICIENT! It's better to send them straight to the devil's lap! A good enemy is a dead enemy!
'Die and help me evolve!'
"AHHHHHH!"

'Gooooood.' His inner Sith is satisfied, but he wants more! More knowledge! More genes! MORE POWER!
Adrian and Venom's physical strength increased even more because of Lizard's genes, and his regeneration improved as well.
The black tentacles held Venom in the air, and immediately he jumped toward Electro. He can't let him escape after all.
"Die, you monster!"
A tentacle came out from Adrian's side and pulled him aside. The one fighting isn't just Adrian; Venom is fighting with him too. Adrian's genius mind and Venom's predator instincts, the perfect combination! The perfect synchronization! An apex predator was born today!
"Give ME your HEADDDDD!"
"Fuck this, I'm out of here!" Sandman immediately turned into sand and fled!
"You won't escape!" The tentacles grabbed the rooftop water tank and threw it at Sandman.
But having already dealt with Spider-Man who used a similar tactic in the past, Sandman was already used to this technique.
"TSK!" Venom clicked his tongue irritably. One prey escaped!
[It's okay, Venom. His escape was predictable.]
How do you stop literal sand from escaping? Only with meticulous plans, and Adrian is focusing more on Electro. He wants the thunder genes! Not to mention this Electro looks like the movie Electro; he has human flesh, therefore he can't become pure electricity. He's easier to kill! Sandman can be hunted later!
"This is troublesome, hahaha." Pumpkin-shaped bombs appeared in Goblin's hand, and he started throwing them at Adrian.
[Venom, kill him.] Adrian's attention was completely on the electric gene. The defective super-soldier formula that turned Goblin into what he is now is interesting, but with Spider-Man's and Lizard's strength, it's already useless. Still, free knowledge shouldn't be wasted!
[Yeah.]
The tentacles slapped the bombs upward, and like a black tsunami, Venom surrounded Goblin. He threw his glider to the ground, making it explode, and then like a spider he made a cocoon, and then that cocoon closed, spilling blood everywhere.
And so in just a few minutes 5 members died, 1 fled, 1 is about to die by Deadpool, and another is being chased by Adrian. It was a crushing game from the start. There was no fight, no exchanges, just death!
That's how it should have been if Spider-Man didn't hold back so much!
"Give me your HEAD, ELECTRO!!!" The black tide returned to Adrian's body, and two gigantic ones were formed.
"That damn monster! Leave me alone!! AHHHHHH!" Electro was fleeing while throwing his powers at that monster. Even suffering some damage, Adrian didn't care. He was noticing that Electro's powers were decreasing, and that was enough.
Adrian's arm extended toward Electro, and when it was about to touch him, Electro exploded into energy.
"You freak, leave me alone!!" A burst of golden electricity was seen in the sky, burning several appliances around Oscorp Tower.
"Tsk." Venom covered himself in a cocoon of web while waiting for the explosion to end, like a predator waiting for the prey to weaken.
The moment the energy started to fade, he didn't waste time and propelled himself toward Electro!
"Your HEAD IS MINE!" Adrian's head and Venom's giant head appeared and swallowed Electro whole.
Inside the head, Venom immediately made several mouths to eat Electro entirely. Two seconds later the entire black tide returned to Adrian's body.
Falling from the sky, Adrian pointed his hand upward, and instead of using Spider-Man's gesture, he simply made a closed fist gesture. A black web shot out from above his hand, and soon he propelled himself to the top of Oscorp.
Doing a backflip in the air, his body was covered in electricity for a few seconds, and instead of landing in Spider-Man's classic pose, he landed in Venom's classic pose, creating a small crater on top of the building due to his weight. The electricity from his body dispersed into the ground. A perfect landing!
He was still in his black Spider-Man form, but due to the amount of 'food' he ate today, he's quite heavy.
"10/10, threatening, sinister, I liked it! You're my new best friend!"
Adrian laughed, he looked at Kraven's head.
'Memories of a hunter… Tracking, finding weaknesses, martial arts, I want it!'
"No need to look at me like a dog begging for food, here." Deadpool threw the head to Adrian.
Venom didn't waste time; as soon as the head flew in the air, he immediately ate it and returned to Adrian's body.
[Tasty!]
"Thanks, Wade."
"You're welcome." He made a heart gesture with both hands.
"How's the son of light over there?" Wade asked.
"Completely healed… He's just going to feel like he got hit by a truck tomorrow. Phantom pains, you know?"
"Yeah, that's a pain in the ass." Wade nodded wisely. "Good thing I arrived in time. If Spidey died, who would put up with my jokes? Hahahaha!"
Adrian looked at Wade for a few seconds, then made a decision. "Take it." He pulled a black card with a white number from Venom's biomass and threw it to Wade.
"Your number? Ohh, are you inviting me on a date!?"
"If the date involves killing superpowered trash, sure. Even though my morals are flexible, don't invite me to kill children, or I'll come after you." He spoke extremely seriously.
"Other than that, you can always call me, Wade." Adrian laughed.
"Hahaha, I may be a walking +18 warning, but I'll never go after children. Even mercenaries need a limit." Wade said in disdain.
"Gooood."
"That Sith imitation with that voice… Kya, I love it."
Adrian just shook his head and said, "Send me a hello, who knows? Maybe in the future I'll help you cure that disease of yours. After all, with my intellect everything is possible."
"… Is that possible?" Deadpool asked in an extremely serious voice.
"Everything is possible, my friend." Adrian smiled. "Just give me time, I'll try to help you."
"Thank you, Venom."
"You welcome." He made a two-finger gesture like Meliodas and then jumped off the balcony. "When Sleeping Beauty wakes up, tell him he doesn't need to thank me for cleaning the trash. He'll sleep more peacefully now, HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"… Ah! I forgot to ask him to help us get down!" Wade looked at the unconscious Spider-Man.
"Sigh, this is going to be some work." He sighed.
