Chapter 013: More power, but still not enough!
"NOOOOO!" A colossal power shot out from Scott's eyes toward Jean, but… it stopped inches away from her.
Emo Jean was online now, and she doesn't tolerate nonsense. Jean looked at Scott with an indifferent gaze. Sensing danger, the Asian ninja quickly moved away from Scott.
Suddenly, all the power contained in that beam abruptly returned back to Scott. He was thrown backward like a rag doll, and several sounds of bones breaking were heard.

It was at that moment that the sound of a motorcycle was heard. Jean, Emma, and the ninja woman named Psylocke looked toward the forest and saw trees being thrown from side to side, as if a force of nature was approaching.
Wrong! It wasn't a force of nature! It was a monster! A terrible monster!
Psylocke's instincts went crazy. Emma Frost was no different. They were completely serious now, but neither of them was prepared for what they saw.
Standing on top of a motorcycle, in the classic Spider-Man pose, they saw the new 'hero' smiling at them with sharp teeth exposed. Despite wearing the Spider-Man suit, he looked more like his muscular Venom version than Spider-Man himself.
The moment Adrian looked at Jean, Emma, and the Asian ninja.
He understood three things immediately.
Emma does not have the 'Mommy' appearance from Marvels Rivals; she looks more like the Emma from the comics. She is much slimmer than the Marvel Rivals mommy. Jean, with the power of the Phoenix, also has her comic appearance; she is wearing her iconic green outfit.
Jean is not out of control; she has not become the Dark Phoenix. Her gaze is far too calm for that. She resembles more the 'perfect' Jean who is Jean and at the same time the Phoenix. In other words, she is the Jean who has control over the Phoenix. It seems his interference prevented the worst-case scenario, which was Jean becoming completely emo, but clearly the Phoenix is influencing her behavior…
Or there is the possibility that she is simply being honest with herself after so long suppressing her true thoughts. Another thing he noticed about her is that she recognized him by his true identity immediately. He was not surprised by that fact; after all, we are talking about the Phoenix. She can track the mind of someone she has seen once; it is one of her most basic abilities.
Even though Jean cannot enter his mind, he must be quite recognizable because his mind is very unique.
Third, unlike the comics, no one from the mutant Brotherhood is here, which is a shame. He wanted to take their powers as well. With that fact, it is possible to deduce that this 'loss of control' is something orchestrated by Jean herself. As long as he does not attack Jean herself, nothing will happen to him.
With that in mind, Adrian can relax more. He does not have to deal with an angry bird today!
"Jean Kill him!" Emma Frost ordered, but Jean did nothing. She simply looked at him with a neutral expression and an amused smile.
"Here's Venom!" He jumped off the motorcycle. The motorcycle was absorbed by his biomass, and then several thousand tentacles spread toward all the fallen X-Men and the mutant children present there. Even Scott himself, and the dead Charles, were not spared. In the next moment, he carried them all away from the three women.

Soon Adrian felt as if he had smoked many illicit plants at once; he felt extreme clarity!
Charles's telepathy, Scott's laser beams, Domino's luck, Storm's power, Logan's healing factor, Kitty Pride's phasing, Bob's ice power, Nightcrawler's physiology and powers, Rogue's power! Gambit's power! And much more! And even better, he gained biocenosis! Joshua Foley's power was perfect for him! It combined perfectly with Venom!
He is a master of genetics now.
He just needs to absorb Raven's physiology; after all, he wants to create a blue-skinned mommy! Cortana wait for me!
The banquet he had prepared a few days ago was served! And it was delicious!! What a beautiful day!
'I love this universe!'
The moment he landed on the ground, he had already absorbed the mutation and memories of all the mutants from Xavier's school. He did not bother taking their personal memories; he only wants their initial experience. Of course, the same does not apply to the furry X-Men scientists, and to Charles himself. Even his tentacles were acting like a Husky on drugs.
Venom's and Adrian's thoughts synchronized for a moment: [We are getting stronger! My weaknesses are decreasing! New abilities emerging! WE LOVE THIS FEELING!]
Venom himself felt himself merging even deeper with Adrian. Even if he wanted to leave Adrian's body now, he would not be able to. He and Adrian are practically one now!
Instead of being afraid or irritated by this, he is euphoric. He has achieved perfect symbiosis! Adrian is the best host! Venom is happy!
And with that happiness, changes began happening in their bodies because of the amount of high-level genes. These changes, of course, were hidden by the Venom suit.
"… I want more!" Adrian's eyes shone with a predatory red, and he looked at Emma and Psylocke.
The two felt as if they were facing a furious tiger that was about to eat them!
With absurd speed, he ran toward them.
"Jean!!"
Even with Emma Frost shouting, Jean did nothing. Emma tried to enter that creature's mind, and she failed. It was like an impenetrable wall!
Before she could say anything, she was grabbed by his claws. Psylocke tried to turn invisible, but with the number of powers Adrian has now, escaping him is a dream.
Holding both in his hands, he lifted them into the air and slammed them to the ground.

Another feeling of clarity was felt by Adrian and Venom. The two felt that a mental palace had been created.
Emma's and Psylocke's powers acquired!
"Gah!" Psylocke suffered a mild concussion, but that was nothing for her. After all, Adrian held back. Emma protected herself with her diamond form.
Two tentacles came out of Venom's back and pointed toward the faces of the two women. The tips of those tentacles were covered with diamond, electricity, and Psylocke's pink power.
Emma and Psylocke opened their eyes wide in shock when they saw the tip of the tentacle. Even Emma, who should be colder and more logical in her diamond form, was surprised.
Ignoring Emma on the ground, the symbiote returned to Adrian, restoring his Spider-Man form. He looked at Jean. "So? Happy?"
"Hmm~, yes. Thank you for the information."
"You're welcome, I cured your boyfriend." He spoke with disdain.
"We're over."
"Hoh?"
"So you found out."
"With her in my head…" She lightly tapped her head: "It would be foolish not to find out."
"Did you solve the problem?"
"The Phoenix solved the problem with my genes, but not Scott's."
"I see." Adrian nodded.
Emma, hearing this conversation, spoke: "You weren't controlled?"
With a look given to Adrian, he understood what she meant and pulled the tentacles away from the two women.
Emma and Psylocke stood up and cautiously looked at the two.
Meanwhile, Adrian focused more on himself. He was forming pillars of power within himself. After all, there are too many powers, and some of them are overlapping, which is not efficient.
He created a physical pillar where all powers related to the physical are there. Then he created the elemental pillar where all powers related to natural elements are. He created the mind and soul pillar, where related powers are stationed.
And most importantly… He made the pillar of 'borrowed' powers from other dimensions. This is a pillar he can abandon at any moment, because it is very dangerous. For example, Scott's and Nightcrawler's powers are there.
For some reason, he gained access to these powers. After thinking for a few seconds, he understood.
'The gene is the key, huh.' He nodded to himself. 'Speaking in metaphors, mutant genes are like a key to open the dimensions that grant powers. It is a different form of sorcery… While sorcerers need training to access these dimensions, I can do it directly.'
This is good and bad at the same time. It is bad because the lord of that dimension may try to harm him, and it is good because he accesses the power directly and does not need calculations.
That is why he made a separate pillar. If something happens… he will abandon the power immediately. It will hurt him a lot; after all, he will be removing his own genes, but he has Venom to fix that, and his new biocenosis power.
'Thinking about it that way, if I take Jean's genes, will I gain the Phoenix's powers?' Seconds later the answer came, and it was a big no.
Unlike other powers from dimensional lords, the Phoenix is very intrusive. She does not want to relax in her home and give small portions of her power to mortals. She wants to send fragments of her consciousness to act like an intrusive plague, all in the name of feeling things.

"Please, do you want to control the Phoenix?" She snorted. "I just used her to beat up the X-Men. When they wake up, who do you think they will blame for me falling to the dark side?"
'Jean could be a bitch if she wanted to. That is not a trait unique to you, Emma.' Adrian laughed.
Emma's face turned red, and she gritted her teeth in anger. "Damn!"
Looking at this rich and ambitious woman, Adrian saw a business opportunity. He needs someone with the right contacts to obtain spirit-materials. For example, it is very difficult to buy a lot of uranium; the government regulates it very strictly.
Why does he need uranium? Of course, to make weapons.
Adrian suffers from a very well-known disease in a certain apocalyptic universe with Orks. He has the disease of lack of firepower! He cannot sleep at night if he does not have enough! He needs bigger weapons!

Adrian thought about creating the body from scratch through a laboratory, but… It would not work the way he wants. He does not want his wives to be weak; after all, he likes strong women.
Not to mention that by creating them in a lab, the women would not come with the appearances he wants.

A thought passed through Psylocke's head as she watched everything in silence.
"I am not a fool." Adrian shrugged.
