Yesterday the cleaning company had already given the place a top-to-bottom scrub, and all the supplies had been arranged; now they only needed to hire staff for each department before operations could begin.
Looking at the office paved with premium marble and decorated in a crisp black-white-grey palette,
Jiang Cheng nodded in approval. A big-brand multinational—poorly managed, maybe, but their taste in fit-out was solid.
With this layout, he'd only need to tweak a few zones; no major overhaul required.
Which made things delightfully cheap for Jiang Cheng, the new owner.
After Yu Xiaoxiao showed him around, they returned to his private office.
"President, this is your personal office—hope you like it!"
Jiang Cheng swivelled the single sofa beside the floor-to-ceiling window to face the glass and sat down.
With half of the Demon City spread out below, the commanding view felt intoxicating.
Exactly the kind of prestige he wanted.
Which was why he'd vetoed Yu Xiaoxiao's idea of setting up in another district.
Lujiazui in Demon City ranked alongside Guangzhou's Zhujiang New Town and Beijing's CBD as one of China's three great financial centres.
Moving into a landmark tower like the World Financial Centre screamed clout.
Nothing but upside for the company's future.
Jiang Cheng patted his thigh. "Come sit a moment?"
Yu Xiaoxiao shot him a flirtatious glare, turned to lock the door, then clicked the blinds shut.
She swayed over, hips rolling with every step.
And settled straight onto his lap, face to face.
Jiang Cheng watched her read the cues perfectly.
He grinned. "Xiaoxiao, what are you doing? I only said 'sit'."
She blushed and gave him a light punch. "Stop teasing or I'll ignore you."
Even as she scolded, she pressed closer.
"Let me check—time to size up?" He eyed her tailored suit with a wicked smile.
"Hmm, milk-scented." He inhaled appreciatively.
"It's a perfect fit; any bigger and it'd look sloppy," she murmured, neck arched.
"True, you look great now—but this way you look even better."
An hour later.
Yu Xiaoxiao asked, "Shall we find somewhere to rest?"
"Sure… hotel?"
Her eyes sparkled; she licked her lips, shy yet daring. "No hotel—come to my place."
Jiang Cheng simply nodded.
At his assent she beamed, took a deep breath as if steeling herself.
Twenty minutes later they were inside her apartment.
Jiang Cheng approved of the clean, minimalist décor.
His first time in a woman's home—sweetly fragrant, just as rumour claimed.
She poured him water and whispered, "Sit tight; I'm going to freshen up."
"Shower together?" He caught her hand.
She gently pushed him back. "Today I want to wash alone."
With that she slipped into the bathroom.
Her unusual shyness made Jiang Cheng frown in curiosity.
After a quick tour he lay on her bed scrolling his phone.
Ten minutes later the bathroom lock clicked open.
Moments after, Yu Xiaoxiao stepped into the room.
Jiang Cheng glanced up—and his eyes went wide.
Voluptuous, scorching hot!
Yet adorably cute!
He couldn't help but marvel: this was the charm of an Older Woman!
