"Who is Alber?" Taffie asked seriously.
Jyu immediately awaited Elveryn's answer. For some reason, his chest pounded rapidly, as if there were a great threat hidden behind the name Alber. Jyu was even more certain that this was the person who had to be defeated to close the dimensional portal.
Elveryn immediately looked at Jyu and Taffie, but her gaze was truly adorable.
"So you really don't know him?" said Elveryn.
"I guess I can't expect too much from you," she said again, now with a frustrated expression on her face.
"He is the ruler of this realm. But I don't like him. Alber is an outsider, he acts like a hero and causes trouble in the darkent realm. I don't like him, I want to kill him."
Jyu and Taffie's guess was correct, Alber was the ruler of the darkent realm. That meant all the problems happening now were his fault. Now it was clear who Jyu had to defeat.
"Hey Elveryn, take me to the demon palace, I promise I will defeat Alber," said Jyu enthusiastically.
"The demon palace? Why do you know about that?" Elveryn asked in confusion.
"We have a mission," Jyu replied briefly.
Actually, Jyu was quite reckless in making this decision without asking for Taffie's approval. But Taffie himself remained silent, even seeming to agree with it. It couldn't be denied that Elveryn would be very helpful if she were truly willing to show them the way to the demon palace.
"Alright!" Elveryn replied shortly.
---
Now that night had come, everyone rested to recover themselves. But the journey had to continue again. And this time their journey would be helped by Elveryn as the navigator.
"Who are you?" Sizhi asked in shock when she saw a small demon figure sitting across from her.
Elveryn only looked at Sizhi with a puzzled gaze, then she laughed softly. Taffie immediately responded and explained who Elveryn was. "She will be our navigator."
Making Elveryn the navigator was the right choice. Because she herself admitted that she knew the fastest route to reach the demon palace. There was an underground path that could lead directly there. But to enter this path, they had to defeat a Yeti.
Taffie and Jyu immediately agreed and admitted they were not afraid. Jyu even confidently claimed he would defeat the Yeti with a single punch. Was that true? Everything would be answered in a few hours.
Without waiting any longer, the four of them continued their journey. But this time their journey was not to the west, but to the south.
They all ran across the sea of sand. But Jyu suffered a little more, because he had to carry Elveryn on his back. Truly, Elveryn was a spoiled demon.
"Why do I have to carry you?" Jyu snapped.
"I'm still small, my steps won't be able to keep up with you," Elveryn answered with a pleading tone.
"Come on! I've been tired all day looking for food."
Jyu became sympathetic, it felt like he was dealing with his own little sister. There was no other choice!
To reach that shortcut path, they had to run all night. But this was considered closer, because if they went directly to the demon palace, they would have to run for at least three more days. All of this was because they had been thrown quite far to the east by the storm earlier.
That meant they would reach the shortcut path to the demon palace the next day. Morning was not a very suitable time to start a battle with the Yeti.
This monster was active from morning until evening. They were known to be brutal and loved to fight. That was why it would be very suitable if they ambushed the Yeti at night and killed it in the darkness.
But that plan could not be done, the journey to get there was not short.
"Relax! I will definitely kill him," said Jyu, still extremely confident, trying to calm Sizhi and Elveryn, who were afraid of the Yeti.
---
Morning was about to come. Jyu and his friends were now getting closer to their destination. Even the Yeti guarding that territory had begun to appear. At the moment, it was sleeping soundly with quite a loud snore.
"We're almost there, prepare yourselves!" shouted Taffie, trying to ignite the spirit of his companions, who were starting to feel exhausted.
It was no wonder, because they had just run all night to reach this point. They had not rested at all, even Sizhi had begun to grow weak, and Taffie had to help her so she wouldn't fall too far behind.
But for some reason, Jyu became even more excited. His distance to the Yeti was getting closer, and he was ready to fight. His sword had even appeared in his grasp. Elveryn remained in Jyu's carry, positioned on his back.
"Jyu! The Yeti will wake up soon, don't be reckless," said Taffie, now uneasy because Jyu seemed to want to act however he pleased.
Five seconds, three seconds, and one second later, a rumbling sound rang loudly. Now all the mystical creatures had awakened from their sleep. They all came out of their nests to search for food. Meanwhile, the Yeti slowly woke up and roared loudly.
"That's a sign he's declaring war," said Elveryn.
"What do you mean?" Jyu asked quietly.
"That roar is a sign that anyone may challenge him. The Yeti over there is the strongest one. Almost no one can defeat him," Elveryn replied.
Taffie immediately approached and grabbed Jyu's arm. "Stop now!"
Taffie did not stop Jyu without reason. Because ahead of them, there were hundreds of mystical creatures running toward them. That meant they had to face those low-level monsters first.
Taffie immediately devised a strategy, now there was no more hiding because there was no time left for it. That was why Jyu would be assigned to fight the Yeti first.
"Only my power can stop them. So you and Sizhi must fight the Yeti."
It made sense because those hundreds of mystical creatures could only be fought by Karakura's power, which could duplicate bodies. And a second later, they immediately prepared to attack.
Karakura appeared, then multiplied into hundreds of bodies. Instantly, Jyu and Sizhi were amazed by Taffie's great power.
"Now I know why Master Jenna is so proud of him. No wonder you could beat thousands of imprisoned mystical creatures. Your demon power alone is already terrifying," thought Jyu.
Karakura immediately charged forward to fight the hundreds of mystical creatures. And also opened a path for Jyu and Sizhi to pass through to fight the Yeti.
In an instant, Karakura eliminated several mystical creatures. This motivated Jyu and Sizhi. Their eyes were full of anger as they ran as fast as possible to fight the Yeti. This would be a deadly battle.
Kuma and Svider had also appeared. Their distance to the Yeti was getting closer, leaving Taffie and Karakura behind to fight hundreds of mystical creatures alone.
The Yeti, that terrifying monster, was now right before Jyu's eyes. Kuma had also become very eager for this fight.
"Kuma! Kill him with your powerful punch," ordered Jyu.
