Third Person
Morning sun beamed through the tall walls of the palace; servants were up and about while guards had changed shifts. Within the king's chamber, King Aldric woke up a little more energetic. Bel had spared him throughout the night. Since he came back from wherever he had gone, he said just a few words. "He isn't ready... so I can't stay." And Bel was gone.
Kebel took full control but still would not meet his eyes. It was like two strangers sharing a common space. The poor servant would not stop shaking; her knees nearly buckled at the intense gaze of Sir Kebel, and by the time she was done, she almost ran out.
"You're coming?" King Aldric asked.
"I have a duty," Kebel answered.
Before Aldric, Kebel would have followed without question, but not this time around. He calmly sat down.
"Get ready." Two words.
