The sleeping figure on the bed rolled over, stretched both his hands and legs while yawning, then slowly sat up.
Asher saw the closed windows, pulled down the curtains, and tilted his head before his eyes suddenly snapped open in realization. He was married… and he was in Xavier Devereaux's fucking room, relaxed, even going as far as letting his guard down.
He quickly got off the bed and checked himself, but so far everything was okay.
But Xavier himself… where was the man?
How did he leave him here and let him continue sleeping on the bed like some lazy ass man?
Looking around for a mirror to check himself out, he found one and rushed to it, only to see nothing wrong. Apparently Xavier didn't take advantage of him, and he was still in one piece, even though this was already his third day in the Dead Land organization.
A soft knock came from the door, and Asher walked over to open it. While turning the knob, he nearly smacked Oliver in the face.
