Earth-65. Manhattan.

Doc Ock's four tentacles locked onto Jake like targeting systems. Green Goblin circled overhead on his glider. Electro crackled with blue high-voltage arcs, illuminating the dim street in stuttering flashes.

"KILL HIM!" Albedo screamed from behind.

"Die, brat!"

Electro struck first — arms thrown forward, a lightning pillar thick as a barrel tearing through the air at Jake's face.

Jake didn't dodge.

One thought.

Whoosh!

Feedback.

Both hands up, palms open. The lightning pillar slammed into him — and flowed in. Through the plug antennae, through the conductor pathways, into the energy core. Feedback's chest blazed white.

"WHAT—?!" Electro felt his power being drained.

"Nice electrotherapy." Jake crossed his fingers and pushed outward. "Return to sender."

BOOM!

A bolt several times thicker than the original erupted back at Electro. He didn't scream — didn't have time. His own amplified current launched him through a billboard. Charred. Unconscious.

"Useless!" Green Goblin dove, hands full of Pumpkin Bombs raining down.

Whoosh!

Diamondhead.

BOOM-BOOM-BOOM!

Explosions engulfed Jake. Before the flames cleared, two crystal javelins tore through the smoke and pierced the Goblin Glider's engine.

"NO—!"

The glider spiraled. Green Goblin flailed mid-fall — and a white web-line wrapped him into a cocoon, hanging him from a steel beam.

Gwen retracted her wrist. "You don't get a say here."

Two villains. Seconds. Done.

Doc Ock's face went white. The thing in front of him — transforming at will, countering everything — was beyond anything the Sinister Six was equipped to handle.

"RETREAT!"

Tentacles grabbed at the building, trying to climb—

"Already here. Why rush?"

Whoosh!

Upgrade.

Black-and-green liquid metal streaked upward and pounced onto the mechanical harness on Ock's back.

"GET OFF! Get off my armor!" Ock thrashed, tentacles clawing at the liquid metal.

Too late.

Green commands injected into the core circuits. The four titanium tentacles froze — then folded backward, locking around Ock's own limbs and neck.

BANG!

Bound by his own arms. Grounded. Immobile.

Thirty seconds. Three main combatants of the Sinister Six — eliminated.

Instant. Complete. One-sided.

Albedo trembled. His plan — borrowed muscle, superior numbers, ambush advantage — was a bad joke against Master Control.

"Your turn."

Jake reformed from liquid metal. Walked toward Albedo.

"DON'T COME CLOSER!"

Albedo slammed the red Ultimatrix.

Red flash.

A massive moth-like creature — black ice armor, four arms, tattered wings — erupted from the light.

Ultimate Big Chill.

But Albedo didn't aim at Jake.

He aimed at George Stacy and Gwen.

Red freezing breath — not cold but burning cold, the Freezing Flame that drained moisture and heat simultaneously — surged toward the two people Jake cared about most on this Earth.

"DAD!" Gwen screamed.

"Seeking death."

Jake's eyes went cold. The Omnitrix runes shifted.

Whoosh!

Golden brass. Gears. A winding key on his head. A transparent chest revealing clockwork turning with mechanical precision.

Clockwork.

Jake turned the key. The time gear reversed.

"Time — Stop."

BZZZ—

Pale green ripples swept the block.

Wind stopped. Flames froze. Gwen's terrified expression locked mid-scream. The red Freezing Flame hung suspended half a meter from George Stacy's face — lethal, motionless, waiting for permission to kill.

The world on pause.

Only Jake moved.

Brass legs. Unhurried steps. Walking through frozen fire to stand before Albedo — still in Ultimate Big Chill form, mouth open, madness captured in his eyes like a photograph.

Jake pressed his palm against the red Ultimatrix emblem on Albedo's chest.

"Time — Rewind."

Gears turned backward.

Red light reversed. The massive moth-body deflated — shrinking, devolving — until the white-haired boy stood frozen in human form. Fear now added to the madness in his static eyes.

Jake grabbed Albedo's collar. Dragged him out of the Freezing Flame's path like hauling a sack.

Snapped his fingers.

"Time — Flow."

BZZZ!

The world resumed.

BOOM!

The red Freezing Flame hit empty ground — freezing ruins into crimson ice sculptures trailing cold mist. Where George had been standing. Where George wasn't.

Gwen gasped, clutching her father, heart hammering. She hadn't even seen what happened.

Albedo's world spun. One second he was breathing fire at hostages. The next — Jake's boot on his chest, a combat knife at his throat.

"Your Ultimate Evolution is a slideshow compared to this."

Jake looked down at the mirror that had tried to use his girlfriend's father as a human shield.

"The watch isn't meant to be used like that."
