Earth-65. Manhattan.

Jake's boot pressed against Albedo's chest. The crunch of ribs under pressure turned the white-haired doppelganger deathly pale.

"Cross-dimensional teleportation — you didn't build that alone." The combat knife at Albedo's throat drew a thin red line. "Who helped you?"

Albedo gasped. His eyes flickered toward Gwen — and he laughed. Manic. Cold.

"You think I came all this way just to fight you?"

He pointed at Gwen.

"I'm a businessman. Someone needs a Spider. I need a universe where you don't exist. Perfect deal."

Jake's eyes went sharp.

Click.

Captain George Stacy — pistol raised, muzzle swinging between two identical faces — couldn't process what his career in criminal investigation had never prepared him for.

"Gwen, get BACK!"

"Dad, lower the gun. The one standing is Jake. The one bleeding is his knockoff." Gwen pressed her father's weapon down and moved to Jake's side.

Her Spider-Sense exploded — a stabbing, needle-sharp pain.

"JAKE! Something's coming!"

VROOM—!

Space ripped open at the end of the street. Not a blue quantum portal. A dark-gold rift shaped like a massive spiderweb woven from predatory energy.

A Victorian leather shoe stepped through.

The man wore a dark-red velvet robe. Face chalk-white. Long hair cascading. No whites in his eyes — only bloodthirsty crimson pupils that surveyed the ruined street with the particular attention of a sommelier examining a cellar.

He breathed deep. Savoring.

"A pure Spider Totem."

He ignored everything — ruins, unconscious villains, the teenager standing on another teenager's chest — and locked onto Gwen with the focus of something that had hunted this specific prey across a thousand universes.

"What a sweet scent. I can hear the Totem wailing in your blood."

Morlun. Eldest son of the Inheritors. The most terrifying hunter in the Marvel multiverse. A being that fed on the life force of Spider-Totems across infinite realities.

"This is your partner?" Jake looked at Albedo.

"He'll tear you to shreds!" Albedo cackled. "Morlun's power is INVINCIBLE!"

BANG!

Jake stomped on the red Ultimatrix.

CRACK!

The watch face caved in. Sparks erupted. The system crashed into self-lock. Albedo's eyes rolled back. Unconscious.

"Noisy."

Jake kicked him aside and faced Morlun.

"Hey. Vampire in the costume." He cracked his neck. "The way you're looking at my girlfriend makes me very unhappy."

Morlun's crimson gaze shifted to Jake for the first time. Assessed. Dismissed.

"A non-Totem being. Low-grade blood food. Begone."

No weapons drawn. Morlun simply stepped.

BOOM!

The asphalt detonated. Morlun vanished — not teleportation, but physical speed so extreme the air couldn't keep up. A sonic boom erupted mid-street. His fist materialized inches from Jake's face.

No energy. No magic. Just physical force that could shatter vibranium bare-handed. This was why every Spider-Man who met Morlun could only run — he couldn't be overpowered physically.

Jake didn't retreat.

Whoosh!

Diamondhead. Crystal arms crossed, condensing half a meter of Taydenite into a diamond heavy-shield.

BANG!!!

Fist met shield. The shockwave stripped the street bare. The ground cratered.

Cracks — web-like cracks — spread across the crystal surface. The shield that Green Goblin bombs hadn't scratched was fracturing under a fist.

"Decent hardness." Morlun's fingers dug into the crystal like steel nails and ripped — tearing a chunk free.

Physical strength exceeding Four Arms. Jake filed the data instantly. No strength contest.

Whoosh! — Upgrade. Liquid metal, slipping through Morlun's grip. Slapping across his face—

"Useless." Blood energy erupted, scattering the liquid metal.

But through the dispersing droplets—

Whoosh! — Four Arms.

Four fists. Chest, cheek, jaw, temple. A rapid-fire combo that connected clean.

Morlun stumbled. Blood at his mouth. But his eyes went wilder, not dimmer. He seized Four Arms' upper wrists.

"Great strength." That savage grin. "But don't you know — I absorb the life force of anything I touch?"

Red energy flowed from Morlun's fingers, draining Four Arms' biological vitality.

"Life-drain? You want to absorb?"

Jake smiled.

"Then have your fill."

Whoosh!

Red muscle became mechanical armor. Nuclear fusion reactors blazing in chest and crown.

Atomix.

The air distorted from heat alone. What Morlun was now absorbing wasn't life force — it was nuclear radiation and plasma fire hot enough to melt stars.

His expression twisted.

"Is it warm?"

Jake grabbed Morlun's wrists in return. Reactor output climbing.

"Let me turn it up."

"Nuclear Fusion Heavy Punch!"

Green nuclear energy compressed to a point on Jake's fist — a miniature sun, held in a mechanical hand.

The punch connected with Morlun's chest.

BANG————!!!

The dark-red robe vaporized. Ribs snapped — audible even through the nuclear roar. Morlun launched backward like a missile — through one building's foundation, through two, through three — carving a kilometer-long trench of green radiation fire before being buried under a collapsed shopping mall.

Jake held the follow-through. Exhaust vents on his back vented white steam.

He retracted his fist. Turned to Gwen and George — both frozen.

"Handled."

Human form. Dusting his hands.

"That vampire's durability was... acceptable."

Deep in the ruins.

A hundred-ton concrete slab flew upward.

Morlun stood. A crater blown through his chest — his beating heart visible through the wound. But the crimson light in his eyes burned brighter. His flesh was knitting together at visible speed.

"Not a Totem..."

He wiped blood from his mouth. Stared at Jake across the distance. The hunting smile returned — wider than before.

"But this energy... is even more delicious than a Totem."
