Senda kept his eyes shut as he anxiously hoped for them to believe him.
Even without seeing the video, both he and Romano knew that something was wrong happening to her. But what Senda couldn't understand was that she was just fine when he saw her eat. Why was she suddenly acting as if she were dying?
"I swear, I didn't lie or do anything to her. She must be acting!"
He knew he was innocent. So, Senda first suspected that the woman acted like this to escape!
He had seen other women act around his boss like that in the past. They would go through any length to get his attention. Even to the point where they would sell their own mafia families to get into their boss's good graces.
No one responded to him, and neither did Romano let him go.
Romano didn't completely believe Senda, but he didn't erase the possibility of his words either. Yet, he was quickly proven wrong to think like this.
