With the help of the sports car, they were able to reach the grand hotel, just in time.
The Grand hotel was the most expensive hotel in the entire country and also the largest. It was famous for it's large swimming pool, spa and luxurious rooms. It was without a doubt, one of the famous hotels in the entire world.
However, as they came out of the sports car, the hotel looked like an abandoned building filled with cobwebs and dust. It wasn't the famous hotel anymore, it looked straight out of a horror movie.
"Are we sure this is the right place?" Ronx asked, gulping and slightly taking a step back.
"Grow up already. This looks kind of interesting" Blake said, licking his lips out of excitement.
"I agree. Let's hurry up and kill Billie fletcher" Alex said calmly. "Possibly, let's save the people who are still alive if we can."
"Ha! Who cares about that? We should just rush in and destroy anything in our way!" Blake said, his hand trembling from excitement.
Alex sighed, "Anyway, we should go in the hotel, we are running out of time."
Ronx nodded while Blake ran towards the main gate and broke through, using his steel fist.
Blake went in a random direction and broke through a few walls, separating from them.
"Leave him be, let's just kill Billie fletcher and save the people who are alive" Alex said, approaching the entrance of the hotel, entering the reception room.
As soon as both of them entered, they noticed that the entire building was extremely dark, not even a single light was turned on. There were large trails of blood and a bunch of corpses laying around.
"This is not good, you head upstairs, I'll search the ground floor" Alex said, checking the vitals of the corpses, trying to find anyone alive.
"Alright, if you are in danger, I won't come to save you. Our mission is to kill Billie fletcher, our conditions do not matter" Ronx said before heading upstairs.
Alex smiled slightly, "I won't save you either."
With that, all three of them were separated and Alex started to search the ground floor for any clue.
He found nothing but corpses and trails of blood that didn't lead him anywhere important. Eventually, he found a locked door that he kicked, breaking it instantly.
Alex hesitated but entered.
As soon as he did, he suddenly saw himself back at the reception area.
"What?! How did I-?!" Alex said, looking around and slightly tapping his body to see if he was dreaming or not.
He went back to the same locked door and found that it wasn't broken anymore. It was the same as when Alex first discovered it.
"Huh? I swear I broke that door and entered that room?!" Alex said to himself, breathing heavily.
He gathered the courage and broke the door once again, entering it.
As soon as he entered it, the same thing happened once again, he was now in the same reception room.
"What is going on?! does...the room have some kind of special power to it?" Alex wondered. "There's something wrong with this hotel, I have to call Ronx back before anything happens to him."
Alex started to walk up the stairs but as soon as he reached the end of the staircase, he was suddenly back at the reception room.
"How?! Teleportation?!" Alex said to himself, slightly frustrated.
"No. This is my ability" A voice said from above.
Alex immediately unsheathed his sword and started to look around, prepared to fight at any second. "Who are you?! Where are you?!"
"That doesn't matter. Especially since you are going to die" The voice answered. "No point in telling a soon to be dead man."
"Show yourself right now!" Alex yelled.
A man appeared from the shadows.
He had an robotic eye and long hair. He was wearing a topless shirt and normal pants.
"My name is Polpi rant and I am the last man you will be seeing after you die" Polpi said with a smirk, standing in a weird pose.
"Are you working for Billie fletcher?" Alex asked, his eyes sharpened.
"Good question!! I shall grant you one point!" Polpi said, covering half of his face with his hand and using the other hand to point at him and raise one finger.
"Huh? Just answer my question" Alex said.
"Maybe I am" Polpi answered, putting on a smirk.
"More importantly, do you want to witness my ultimate power?!" Polpi asked, opening his arms and looking at the ceiling. "Since you are already going to die, I might as well."
Alex got into a stance, preparing for anything.
Nothing happened until he blinked, appearing in the middle of the reception, the same place that he was standing on three seconds ago.
"Wha?" Alex said, speechless.
"My ability is to revert time by a few seconds" Polpi said, still in the same pose. "Meaning, I am invincible! No matter how much you hurt me, I can always revert time!"
Alex looked at him with a disappointed look. "Oh, now it makes sense."
"What's with that reaction?! You were supposed to be shocked! You were supposed to beg for mercy and praise me!? What is with that look?!" Polpi asked, pointing his finger at him.
"I have fought people with much more powerful abilities, you are nothing" Alex said, his breathing turning stable and his face looked much more calmer.
"Impossible!! That type of bluff won't work on me! There is no ability more powerful than mine!" Polpi yelled, pointing at him with a suspicious look.
"You may not be aware of it but there are abilities so powerful that they can destroy the world in a matter of seconds" Alex revealed.
"I am done with your nonsense. Time to die, kid" Polpi said, his personality and voice completely changing.
"Oh? Make sure to entertain me" Alex replied, smiling a little.
