Chapter 109 - Draco, The Owl (2)

"Sir, who is this 'Draco' anyway?" Lucius asked after checkmating Todd in a game of chess.

Todd looked Lucius in the eye, slightly frustrated due to losing for the seventh time. "He's the one who cleans the mess that my organization makes," he answered with a slight smirk.

"How strong is he?" Lucius asked, narrowing his eyes.

"Well...it depends on his mood," Todd replied, leaning back and getting himself comfortable. "On a good day, he's stronger than me. In fact, I have even fought him before and even though he lost against me, it was only because he didn't want to kill me since I am the leader of the organization, you know."

"Is he even stronger than the barber?" Lucius asked.

"Well...that barber never really tries to seriously fight, he just plays around mostly," Todd Falcon answered. "So I wouldn't know."

Meanwhile....

"And Crows are animals," Draco said, stabbing Alex with his sword, causing him to vomit blood instantly.

However, despite that, Alex grabbed his sword that was still in his body to prevent him from dodging or running away and then tried to slash him horizontally, about to split Draco's body in half. But before he could, Draco ducked below to avoid the slash, however, that was a part of Alex's plan since he changed the direction of the slash in the very last second, forcing Draco to teleport and give up his sword.

"Now, what will you do without your sword?" Alex said coldly with a serious expression.

"Don't need it," Draco said, appearing in front of Alex and punching him, causing his body to get launched far away. However, surprisingly, he didn't just stop there. Draco caught up to Alex with his speed and grabbed his head while he was still in the air, launching him into the ground and taking out his sword from Alex's body, causing blood to burst out instantly.

"Rest in peace, crow," Draco said, walking in the opposite direction. "My job has been done. Though, even if you don't die, I don't care. Consider it as a thank you for freeing me from that woman."

Alex clenched his sword. "Thank you? Go fuck yourself," he muttered, not wanting to spend his strength on saying it out loud. Instead, he used his strength on standing up after seeing that Draco had vanished. "I still had the strength to fight him but it's not worth it. More importantly, I need to go to Elvis immediately so that she could heal my wounds."

----------------------------

At the same time, Kael heard his doorbell ring once again, not too long ago after Alex had came. "Tch, did he come back again," Kael thought, approaching the door and opening it, which caused him to freeze in place after seeing the person who stood in front of the door.

It was his great-uncle, Dave falcon.

Without being asked to, he simply entered the house casually as if nothing had ever happened. "Good morning, Kael," Uncle Dave said casually. "Where is Ronx?" He asked, after noticing he wasn't in the living room or the kitchen.

"W-What? I thought you were dead!" Kael said, completely bewildered. "Didn't you like- die in the fire? In the laboratory?"

"I am not that old to be dead, Kael," Uncle Dave said, slightly disappointed and upset. "I am a perfectly healthy man. I still have a couple of years in me."

"No. That's- didn't you get kidnapped?!" Kael said, confused.

"Kidnapped? No? I stayed over at a friend's house. Did Ronx not tell you that?" Uncle Dave said, sitting down in his chair and immediately starting to read the newspaper. "What kind of dreams have you been having?"

"Huh..." Kael said, questioning everything and causing him to go to his room and lay down in his bed. "What the fuck?"

--------------------------

"Draco, the owl? What kind of name is that?" Mr. Crow said, laughing out loud. "And did age finally catch up with you? How on earth were you defeated, haha!"

Alex's eyebrow slightly twitched, sighing, "I knew he wouldn't take it seriously...but what kind of reaction is this?!" He thought.

"According to the Criminal information book, he's just a random subordinate of Amelia, one of the thirteen leaders of the main branch," Luke said, who was sitting in the corner of the room, who was probably discussing something with Mr. Crow before Alex came in.

Suddenly, Mr. Crow's facial expressions changed. "A...random subordinate of some random nobody leader? Even if age has caught up with Alex, it's still weird how he was defeated...and so easily."

"Though, I still don't care!" Mr. Crow said with a smirk, leaning back. "Just stop trying to destroy the Red Cross organization by yourself and do some normal, peaceful missions. Even if he was strong, the simple solution would be to not fight him!"

"Alex...Mr. Crow is right," Luke said with a slight worrying look. "You shouldn't have tried to mess with that organization in the first place. Even if we do in fact, defeat him, this...Todd Falcon will just send more people after us."

"Ronx was a good person and I liked him a lot. In fact, he even destroyed "the doctors" but..." Luke said, not wanting to finish the sentence.

Alex stood up and sighed. "Fine."
