Buggy didn't expect Nico Robin to come looking for him.
Late at night... a man and a woman alone... a secret talk... Buggy immediately thought of many plots from adult comics.
Unfortunately, Buggy is a serious person (seriously).
"Is something wrong?"
Buggy had previously told Robin that she could return to the Straw Hat Pirates once Luffy came for her.
"Captain Buggy saved my life, and I haven't properly thanked him yet." Robin bowed deeply and solemnly first.
Hmm... The Will of J is much stronger than the Will of D. Indeed, size is truth, and size is justice.
"Cough... cough... No need for thanks. As I said, I just don't want the world to experience major turmoil." Buggy cleared his throat.
"One more thing, I heard Captain Buggy is going to conquer Wano Country?" Robin looked up, her beautiful eyes fixed on Buggy.
"That's right. As a Four Emperor, I must first have my own territory, and I've chosen Wano Country. What, is Wano Country an ally of your Straw Hat Pirates?" Buggy asked.
"Just friends. The alliance disappeared after we defeated Kaido." Robin shook her head.
"Friends, huh... Then, if I were to conquer Wano Country, would your Straw Hat Pirates become my enemies for these 'friends'?" Buggy tapped the table with his finger, speaking slowly.
Robin didn't answer Buggy, but instead looked at the wine cabinet in the room.
"May I have a drink?" Robin inquired.
"Uh... sure."
Robin crossed her arms, activating her Hana Hana no Mi ability.
The wine cabinet was opened by arms resembling flowers, and a bottle of red wine and two glasses were taken out.
After opening the red wine bottle and pouring two glasses, the arms disappeared.
Fortunately, the pure white, jade-like arms were full of aesthetic beauty; if someone else used the Hana Hana no Mi, it would be quite unsettling.
Robin raised her glass and downed the red wine. "If we're talking about friendship, the relationship between the Buggy Pirates and our Straw Hat Pirates is closer, isn't it...?"
"During the Marineford War, Captain Buggy saved Luffy, and now he's saved me. How could our Straw Hat Pirates become your enemies? Captain Luffy is very clear on these matters."
"As for the people of Wano Country..." Robin poured another glass of wine, "They only know how to take, in my opinion, they don't even count as friends."
"It seems you don't approve of them." Buggy also took a sip of wine.
"I'm a historian, and I've thoroughly researched the history of Wano Country. How to put it, they are a group of both insecure and arrogant people..." Due to drinking too quickly, two blushes appeared on Robin's face.
"Didn't Captain Buggy serve on the same ship as Kozuki Oden? What kind of person was Kozuki Oden, really?" Robin remembered that the man before her was a member of the Roger Pirates.
"Kozuki Oden, huh... He had strength, but no brains. He was quite suitable as a pirate, but completely unqualified as a ruler, a naivefellow to the point of foolishness." Buggy gave his assessment of Kozuki Oden.
"That's quite merciless, Captain Buggy. But it's very true." Robin gave a cold smile. "The reason Wano Country became like this is largely due to Kozuki Oden."
"But such a person is hailed as a hero by everyone in Wano Country... Despite having the power to resist, he obediently performed naked dances for five years. He's not even comparable to Princess Vivi of Alabasta, let alone Kyros of Dressrosa."
"Kozuki Oden being written into history as a 'hero' is simply ironic." Robin again drained the wine in front of her.
Buggy didn't expect there to be clear-headed people in the Straw Hat Pirates.
"So that's why you dislike him... But history is written by the victors. Didn't the World Government erase 'history' for a hundred years?"
"That's why I must find the true poneglyph and make history known to the public," Robin said.
"Although I don't know what they've hidden, it must be something bad. If you reveal the true history to the public, you will truly become a mortal enemy of the World Government."
Buggy knew there was something fishy about the founding of the World Government; the twenty royal families who proclaimed themselves gods, the Celestial Dragons, must have held some secret.
"I know, but this is a historian's obsession." Robin said, "At that time, I will leave the Straw Hat Pirates so as not to bring risk to my companions."
"Even if you leave the Straw Hat Pirates, those single-minded guys won't just abandon you, will they?" Buggy said.
"That's a very vivid description." Robin covered her mouth and chuckled softly. "So I have a request..."
She bit her lip and whispered, "If I find all the poneglyphs, can I join the Buggy Pirates?"
"…" Buggy didn't expect Robin to have such an idea.
"During the banquet, I saw Captain Buggy's speech elsewhere. Your crew recorded your live broadcast with a transponder snail and enjoys watching it when they're free."
Robin's eyes sparkled. "Are you trying to overthrow this world, Captain Buggy?"
Buggy didn't expect his crew to have a fondness for watching short videos, but with himself as the protagonist, it felt a bit strange.
Robin leaned over, and the fire of revenge appeared in her eyes. "I can help you to overthrow this hateful world together!"
"So you haven't forgotten your hatred after all." Buggy saw this side of Robin for the first time. "But your family only wished for you to live well."
"Captain Buggy has heard about my story?" Robin was a little surprised.
"But I'm the Child of the Devil..." Robin gave a self-deprecating smile. "The world's smallest wanted criminal. My mother died in front of me. Shouldn't I seek revenge?"
Robin gripped Buggy's arm tightly. "When I was captured by the Marine, I was truly terrified. But I wasn't afraid of death; I was afraid that if I died, there would be no one left to avenge my mother, to avenge Ohara."
"Revenge for one's kin is righteous, but I think your mother wouldn't want your life to be consumed by revenge. She would want you to live a happy life." Buggy didn't expect Robin's obsession with revenge to be so deep.
"I've been wandering since I was 8, experiencing countless betrayals and abandonments. I once hid in the Underworld, surviving by betraying others." Robin pointed to herself. "Does such a bad woman still deserve to live a happy and joyful life?"
"Why not? Girls who smoke, drink, and have tattoos can still be good, little fairies even..."
"Captain Buggy, help me. Even if I become a devil, I want to overthrow this world! Luffy and the others shouldn't be involved in such matters; only you can do it."
Robin knew that overthrowing the world would involve bloodshed and sacrifice. These things would be too cruel for the Straw Hat Pirates, but this man in front of her wouldn't care about such things.
"Alright, since you've already made your decision, I have no reason to refuse. Once you find all the poneglyphs, you can join the Buggy Pirates anytime."
Mainly, Robin, in her excitement, was pressing tightly against Buggy, and the Will of J was exerting too much pressure.
"Thank you!" Robin's body softened, and she collapsed directly into Buggy's arms.
"Hey, are you testing a Four Emperor like this? Which Four Emperor could withstand such a test...?" Buggy held the soft, fragrant woman in his arms, and a lily-like scent wafted over.
Is it the inherent scent of the Hana Hana no Mi? So it's true.
Robin's face was flushed. "Didn't Captain Buggy remember my measurements clearly? Why are you acting so gentlemanly now?"
Two jade-like hands reached out from behind Buggy and pulled his head down.
"I heard Captain Buggy killed Spandam. This is a thank-you gift from a thirty-year-old bad woman..." A murmuring voice came.
"Empty Hand Deflection · Butterfly Flower · Myriad Purples and Reds · Phalaenopsis..."
