One week later.
Inside a conference room at U.A. High, every faculty member had gathered.
"I believe everyone here understands why we've been called today."
The speaker was a small white creature in a tailored suit, a scar over his right eye—an unmistakable presence despite his size.
He was U.A.'s principal.
Nezu.
Seated at the head of the table, chin resting lightly on his paw, his expression was unusually serious.
"It's about that guy… Shigaraki Tomura, right?"
The one who spoke was a scruffy-looking man with heavy stubble and unkempt hair that looked perpetually greasy. His eyes were half-lidded, his posture slouched, voice low and tired.
Aizawa Shota.
Hero name: Eraser Head.
"Yes."
The one who answered him was the gaunt, skeletal figure seated beside Principal Nezu.
All Might.
In his weakened form.
His face was grave.
As one of the central figures present during the Sludge Villain incident, the pressure he had endured over the past week had not been light.
He stood, sweeping his gaze across the assembled teachers.
"Shigaraki Tomura… the one who calls himself the Savior of Villains."
"The impact he has caused has far exceeded our expectations."
"In the past week, we have attempted every available method to remove the video of his speech from the internet."
"None have succeeded."
"There appears to be a highly skilled hacker—or possibly an organized group—protecting its distribution."
The room grew heavier.
"Because of that video, within just seven days, crime rates across Japan have risen by thirteen percent."
"Other countries have also reported measurable increases."
He paused.
"His speech was manipulative. Intentionally provocative."
"But we must acknowledge one thing."
"What he described… does exist."
Silence.
Several teachers sighed quietly.
They already knew.
Discrimination based on Quirk strength.
Social bias.
Marginalization.
They had seen it before.
They had tried to fix it before.
Results had been… negligible.
Superhuman society had accumulated flaws over decades. Deep-rooted ones.
This was not something a handful of Pro Heroes could overturn overnight.
Principal Nezu lightly cleared his throat, drawing everyone out of their heavy thoughts.
"The disparities created by Quirks—leading to discrimination and even violence—have been a global concern for years."
"Heroes around the world have discussed solutions."
"None have proven effective."
His small eyes narrowed slightly.
"We feared someone would exploit this weakness."
"And yet… we still failed to prevent the worst-case scenario."
"If it were merely an ordinary criminal, it would be manageable."
"But Shigaraki Tomura…"
He lowered his head briefly in contemplation.
"Unknown identity."
"Unknown Quirk."
"Based on his behavior during the incident, he appears to be performative."
"And that," Nezu said quietly, "is precisely what makes him dangerous."
He didn't elaborate.
He didn't need to.
Everyone understood.
A performative personality—attention-seeking, unpredictable.
You never knew what they might do to maintain momentum.
To escalate.
To shock.
To be seen.
An ideological extremist was dangerous.
But an ideological extremist who thrived on spectacle?
That was volatile.
A ticking bomb.
"If only we'd detained him back then…"
A Pro Hero with upright blond hair, wearing headphones and dressed like a rock singer, clicked his tongue in frustration.
Present Mic.
U.A.'s English teacher.
"All this trouble… from what should've been a minor Villain incident."
He leaned back irritably.
"How does a small-time incident spiral into something like this?"
No one answered.
Because they all knew the truth.
It hadn't spiraled.
It had been ignited.
