Viva stood up. Leon quickly stepped back. Viva's wing was slowly regenerating.
"Didn't I say killing you would be fun? Yes I did"
'This creature is really tough' Leon thought.
Viva flicked his fingers in the air. His claws shot forward like bullets, flying straight toward Leon. The moment they left his fingers, new claws started growing again.
Leon prepared his hand to create more blades, but a claw flew toward him and broke his concentration. He dodged it.
"Too weak. You can't even dodge my basic attacks," Viva said, starting to laugh.
Kaia was watching. She couldn't help her brother now—she could only watch.
Suddenly, one claw was about to hit the middle of Leon's forehead.
'Stop... Stop... Please stop...' Kaia thought.
Something green appeared in front of Leon's forehead and blocked the attack.
Leon's mouth opened slightly. He couldn't understand how it happened. The claw dropped on ground.
Once he looked at Kaia and saw that her eyes were glowing green.
While he was trying to understand what happened Viva suddenly kicked his shoulder. His big claws of toes never hitted Leon's skin but he can feel the pain like a huge tree had fallen on his shoulder.
Viva was about to kick on his face next but Leon stepped back.
"Hm.... Why you stepping back?" Viva said mocking.
Leon didn't say anything. He was just buying time to prepare more blades.
After all, who would miss a chance like this?
'I cant win against this creature. But, i can escape from here. Lets see' Leon thought.
"Phantom blade rain!"
Viva stopped for a second. He looked at sky.
Nothing~
Viva smiled.
"So, you're disappointing me like this? Otherwise, how can a magician make blades rain?"
Kaia looking at sky. Really there is nothing.
'Brother disappointed me too. I thought something will happ-' Kaia thinking.
"Strike!!" Leon said like commanding something voice is so loud.
His fingers tightened.
Several blades appeared above Viva. And striked on ground.
Viva froze for a moment. He was thinking 'Why i didnt escaped?'
Suddenly he realized he need to move.
The blades struck the ground. Viva dodging them. Some of them slashed across his body. One blade cut off one of his wings. When other wing is regenarated.
Leon was coughing. Blood falling from his mouth. The blood from the wound on his right hand had already dried. Its hard to fight with this hand now.
After some moments blades stopped to strike. No blade in sky now.
"Phew...." Viva let out a long breath "So, that was your blade rai-"
"Strike!" Viva was talking and a lot of blades started to rain again.
Viva started dodging them. His brows furrowed. Get so mad.
"This is no fair! What is this supposed to mean?"
Another one of Viva's wings was cut. But he have no time to scream. He need to dodge the blades first.
Leon focused. And a blade with handle appeared beside his right hand.
Viva looked at him helplessly.
"What now?" Viva said madly.
Suddenly, Leon vanished from in front of him. Viva suddenly felt intense pain in his left elbow. No time for scream.
His left hand was cut off from the elbow. It dropped on ground.
Suddenly, the earpiece Viva always wore rang.
"Viva, emergency. Come fast" someone ordered him.
Viva stopped dodging. Suddenly something exploded where Viva had been dodging the blades.
Smoke filled the area.
Feathers scattered everywhere. An eagle get out from smoke. And flew away. Leon blocked some feathers. Flare splitted. Some of them hit Leon.
Some feathers struck the dustbin Kaia was hiding behind.
When everything was over, Leon collapsed onto the ground.
Kaia ran to Leon.
Leon could see the whole world turning blurry.
"Brother... Brother..." Kaia stopped for some moments "I need to call an ambulance-"
Leon raised a hand to stop Kaia.
