Not the kind that follows destruction.
Not the kind that settles after chaos.

Cassian stood alone in what remained of the domain if it could still be called that.
The fractured ground no longer stretched endlessly. The shadows had retreated, no longer wild or aggressive, but distant… watchful.
And above him
Nothing.
No ceiling.
No sky.
Only that endless void.
Watching him back.
Cassian exhaled slowly, rolling his shoulders as if trying to shake off the weight pressing against his body.
"Alright," he muttered. "You've made your entrance."
No response.
But the pressure increased.
Subtle.
Like something leaning closer.
Cassian's eyes narrowed.
"You split the domain," he continued. "Separated me from Nyxara… and now you're just staring?"
Still nothing.
But then
A shift.
The void rippled.
And something descended.
Not in a dramatic crash.
Not with overwhelming force.
But slowly.
