Chapter 53 - Ch 53- Time to leave

Flame Country, Midnight Bar.

Alvin sat arrogantly at the bar counter, casually snatching the wine bottle from Stark's hand before pouring himself a large, full glass.

"Red Hawk ." Stark looked troubled, and fine beads of sweat even formed on his forehead.

His eyes kept drifting toward the demonic blade Alvin had placed on the bar. Even while sealed inside its scabbard, the blade still emitted a chilling and ominous aura.

Stark knew very well that if he were not wary of this sword, he would have absolutely stood his ground and refused to let Alvin drink this wine.

The bar's regular patrons, who normally dared to joke and chat with Alvin, were now keeping their distance.

That demonic blade seemed like an invisible barrier that filled everyone with fear.

Although the scabbard restrained the blade's edge, the oppressive presence emanating from it was like countless needles piercing directly into their nerves, making them unwilling to step even half a pace closer.

"Gulp~ Gulp~ Gulp~ Ha... that feels good..." Alvin completely ignored Stark's attempt to stop him. He raised the glass and tilted his head back, draining the entire cup in one breath.

As the liquor flowed down his throat, he let out a satisfied sigh, his voice filled with comfort and pleasure.

In his heart, this was the life that a he should enjoy. Free, carefree, and bound by nothing.

"Stark, I'm planning to leave Flame Island. Aren't you going to have a drink with me?" After finishing one glass, Alvin immediately reached out to pour another. While filling the glass, he spoke casually.

"Leave?" Stark was momentarily stunned, his face filled with surprise.

However, he quickly regained his composure.

"That makes sense. You have already stayed on Flame Island for more than a year."

"Now that this terrifying demonic blade has been forged, someone with your ambition could never remain on such a small island and allow this newly forged Great Grade Sword to gather dust here."

"I believe it won't be long before everyone on the seas remembers the name West Blue's Ultimate Evil, Red Hawk Alvin!"

As Stark finished speaking, the other patrons in the bar suddenly understood.

Of course. How could a man like Alvin stay trapped in such a small place forever?

Red Hawk Alvin's stage should be the Grand Line!

A gleam appeared in everyone's eyes. They firmly believed that Alvin would one day enter the Grand Line and carve out a legendary reputation on that sea filled with danger, adventure, and powerful pirates.

Stark no longer bothered with his usual principles. He crouched down and carefully took out a bottle of treasured wine from deep within the liquor cabinet.

Under the dim light of the bar, the bottle glimmered faintly, as if quietly telling the story of its extraordinary quality.

He stood up with a slight smile and said, "How could a dignified Red Hawk drink ordinary rum? This is the wine he should be drinking!"

"Hiss!"

"It's actually Flame Dance!"

"Stark is really willing to open that bottle. This wine is a unique specialty of Flame Island, and fewer than twenty bottles are produced each year."

"Look at that orange red color. It really is Flame Dance!"

"But this wine is extremely strong..."

The entire bar erupted into noisy excitement the moment the bottle appeared.

Everyone began talking at once, their voices filled with amazement.

Flame Dance was famous throughout Flame Island. Because of its special brewing method and extremely limited production, it was regarded as a rare treasure by the locals.

Stark placed two exquisite glasses on the counter and carefully poured the wine into them. The orange red liquid shimmered gently inside the glasses, releasing an enticing glow.

"So this is the legendary Flame Dance?" Alvin looked at the wine in the glass, which resembled a flickering flame. His nose twitched slightly as he smelled the rich fragrance in the air, and he could not help swallowing.

The aroma was mellow and deep, carrying a powerful charm that seemed almost irresistible.

"That's right. Come, try it. I'm sure you'll like it." Stark raised his glass with a warm smile, his eyes filled with anticipation as he looked at Alvin.

Alvin also lifted his glass slowly, his gaze fixed on the orange red liquid inside.

In his eyes, the wine seemed to truly become a blazing flame, fierce and full of energy.

He took a deep breath, letting the rich aroma fill his senses again, then raised his head and drank the entire glass of Flame Dance in one swallow.

In an instant, a powerful burning sensation spread from his throat throughout his entire body.

Alvin felt as if his whole body had been ignited. That blazing heat surged through his veins, causing his heartbeat to accelerate rapidly.

A flush appeared across his face, but his eyes shone with unprecedented excitement.

"What strong liquor. Truly good wine!" Alvin slammed the empty glass onto the counter and exclaimed loudly. His voice echoed across the bar and drew envious looks from those around him.

Stark watched Alvin's reaction and smiled with satisfaction.

He raised his own glass and drank the wine in one gulp. As the Flame Dance flowed down his throat, his body trembled slightly before he quickly regained his composure.

"This Flame Dance is just like the character of our Flame Island. Passionate, wild, and full of strength," Stark said with a sigh as he placed the glass down. "Once you leave, who knows when you will return to drink it again."

Alvin burst into hearty laughter.

"If that's the case, then tonight we won't stop until we are completely drunk. Stark, keep the drinks coming!"

For a brief moment everyone stood stunned. Then excitement quickly spread across their faces as they rushed forward, raising their cups high.

Tonight they were determined to drink their fill with Alvin.

After all, the chance to drink with the famous Red Hawk Alvin would become an excellent story to brag about in the future.

Later they could proudly tell others, "Do you know? We once drank together with the famous Red Hawk Alvin in this very bar!"

Just thinking about it made them feel incredibly proud.

Soon the entire bar became lively and chaotic. The clinking of glasses and bursts of laughter filled the air as everyone surrounded Alvin and continued drinking round after round.

The Midnight Bar remained noisy and cheerful throughout the entire night.

Only when dawn arrived did everyone finally collapse across the tables, fast asleep.

Alvin himself was not particularly drunk. He splashed some water on his face in the bar, clearing his head slightly, then slowly began walking toward Rex's place.

It was time to say goodbye.

And time to leave this island behind.
