Chapter 54 - Ch 54- New trouble

It was already slightly bright when Alvin arrived at Emberhardt's place.

The moment he caught sight of Rex, the large stone weighing on his heart finally dropped; Rex could move freely now, but his originally rosy face still appeared incredibly pale.

"I knew you'd come today," Rex turned his head slightly, his gaze falling on Alvin, his voice somewhat weak.

A faint smile appeared on Alvin's face. He took out Demon Blade chronicle from his system space and said indifferently, "I named it Demon Sword Chronicle"

"A very good name, it perfectly matches the aura it exudes," Rex couldn't help but praise softly upon hearing Alvin's explanation.

Alvin fully agreed with Rex's assessment.

He slowly nodded, his eyes gleaming with confidence, and then continued:

"Live well! I believe it won't be long before you can personally witness Demon Blade chronicle radiating its own brilliant splendor across the vast and boundless sea. By then, the entire world will be shaken!"

Rex's pale face once again showed a hint of madness: "That's for sure. From the moment you were willing to stay here for a year, I knew this blade had found its most suitable owner. It will definitely leave the most significant mark in history!"

Alvin said no more. He simply gave Rex a confident smile, then turned and left without any hesitation.

Rex looked in the direction Alvin left and murmured, "Chronicle... as a name for a Demon Blade, it truly is inexplicably fitting..."

The blade's issue was resolved, and next, Alvin was going to retrieve another old friend.

He left Flame Country, and after half a day of travel, his figure appeared within the borders of Black Anvil Country.

A year had passed in a hurry, yet this place was still the same. The bustling sounds on the streets, the clanging from the shops, everything exuded a familiar sense of life.

Alvin strode towards the gunsmith's shop with powerful, determined steps, carrying an air of unquestionable resolve.

As soon as he stepped through the door, he called out loudly, "Boss Batt, my gun should be ready, right?" His voice echoed through the shop, instantly attracting everyone's attention.

"You are..." Batt looked up, and for a moment, he didn't recognize the person in front of him.

He narrowed his eyes slightly, scrutinizing him for a few moments. Suddenly, the confusion on his face was replaced by surprise and excitement. "Red Hawk, you've finally come! Hiss! You've grown so tall, I almost didn't recognize you!"

In one year, Alvin's changes were astonishing.

His height shot up from 2.36 meters to 2.85 meters, his physique became even more robust and muscular, and his appearance also changed somewhat. His already stern face became more resolute, and his slightly furrowed brows and deep eyes seemed to hold endless stories.

People in the shop heard the commotion and all turned their gaze towards Alvin.

For a moment, the entire gunsmith's shop was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Everyone held their breath, not daring to make a sound.

After all, the name of West Sea's Ultimate Evil - Red Hawk Alvin was once known to all, an existence that made the entire West Blue tremble.

"Hehehe~ It's me. I didn't expect you'd still recognize me," Alvin's lips curled slightly into a faint smile.

"Hahahaha~ But first, congratulations, Red Hawk! Demon Blade chronicle has certainly made the entire Flame Island lively now," Batt said with a hearty laugh, his eyes full of envy and admiration.

Although he sold guns, he also had a deep love for blades, especially Twenty-One Crafts-grade Demon Blades.

"Of course, Demon Blade chronicle is destined to unleash unprecedented brilliance in my hands!" Alvin's expression was calm, but his words exuded immense confidence.

As he spoke, he seemed to radiate a powerful aura that made people instinctively believe that what he said would surely come true.

"No one in Flame Island doubts that. Please wait a moment; I will go retrieve your gun now," Batt said earnestly, then turned and walked quickly into the inner room of the shop.

Alvin paid no attention to the gazes directed at him.

He slowly paced around the shop, his gaze sweeping over the displayed guns, a hint of scrutiny in his eyes.

Not long after, Batt emerged from the inner room.

"Red Hawk, this is your sniper rifle from back then. Take a look, are you satisfied?" Batt presented the sniper rifle to Alvin with both hands.

Although he asked this, his face was beaming with a confident smile, as if to say that this gun would definitely not disappoint Alvin.

Alvin reached out and took his old friend. As soon as he held it, he felt that this sniper rifle was a bit heavier than before.

He examined it carefully; outwardly, there seemed to be no change, but he could clearly feel that this gun had become much stronger.

"What incredible craftsmanship, thank you, Boss Batt," Alvin couldn't help but praise, his eyes full of admiration and gratitude.

"Hahahaha~ I'm glad you're satisfied. You must be preparing to leave Flame Island now, right? But..." At this point, Batt's expression suddenly became mysterious. He cautiously looked around, then leaned closer to Alvin and whispered, "We've received news that the new King of Skull Bay has already led 7 warships towards Flame Island. You should know why."

Upon hearing this news, Alvin's eyes instantly lit up, sparkling with excitement: "The new King? Who is he? Most importantly, did he ever have a bounty?"

Batt looked at Alvin's reaction, feeling a bit confused. Why was he getting excited upon hearing that someone was coming to deal with him?

Nevertheless, he still relayed all the information about Skull Bay this time:

"He is one of Duke of Bones's adopted sons, named Sabrino. He was originally a pirate with a bounty of 71 million Berries.

After you eliminated Duke of Bones, there was chaos in Skull Bay, and in the end, Sabrino eliminated Duke of Bones's other adopted sons and successfully became King.

He's a guy skilled in political maneuvering."

Alvin didn't care what Batt said about being skilled in political maneuvering. In his opinion, people in this world playing power games were like children playing house, not worth mentioning at all.

What he cared about was that 71 million Berries bounty!

He still had 130 million bounty points now. If he eliminated Sabrino, he would get another 71 million bounty points. By then, he could give himself another wave of strength upgrades.

"This information is indeed very important to me. Thank you, Batt. I'm leaving. Goodbye!" Alvin said excitedly, waving his hand and taking out several million Berries from his system space, placing them on the table with a 'smack', then turned and strode out of the gunsmith's shop.

Batt watched Alvin's departing back and couldn't help but sigh, "As expected of Red Hawk! Seven warships, that's the combat power of a small nation, yet he showed no panic at all."

----

Alvin arrived at the seaside. The sea wind howled, and the waves crashed against the shore, making roaring sounds.

He took a deep breath, feeling incredibly refreshed. After being cooped up in Flame Country for so long, this time, he would start with Sabrino!

T/N- Demon Sword Chronicle is finally forged, next arc will begin from next chapter.
