Relying on his extremely far reaching Observation Haki, Alvin finally sensed the presence of Oro, Vlad, and Hanafuda.
Sitting beside him, Ella immediately noticed the change in Alvin's expression.
From him she could clearly feel excitement, along with a faint but unmistakable killing intent.
"Why did you suddenly become so excited?" Ella asked suspiciously.
"Hm?" Alvin returned to his senses after hearing her voice.
"I was thinking they probably will not arrive at Frost Flower City until dawn, so I plan to get some sleep first."
After saying this, Alvin closed his eyes while Ella looked at him in confusion.
Soon light snores could be heard, as if he had truly fallen asleep.
But Ella knew perfectly well that this could not possibly be true.
How could this man know that the enemy would only arrive at dawn?

At this moment Hanafuda and Oro had no better plan.

A miserable scream burst from Vice Admiral Vlad's mouth.
The despair in his voice sent chills down everyone's spine.
Hanafuda and Oro, who were right behind him, were horrified.

Was he supposed to admit that Red Hawk was so powerful that even Vlad could not resist him?
"Kill him!"
"Eliminate Red Hawk!"
"In the name of Marine justice, eliminate Red Hawk!"
The surrounding Marines saw Vice Admiral Vlad severely wounded and instantly lost control.
They raised their flintlock rifles and fired wildly at Red Hawk.
However Alvin stood there like a statue made of steel.
He ignored the attacks completely.
The bullets struck his body as if hitting a solid iron wall.
Dull metallic sounds rang out but none of the bullets could harm him.
"Vlad."
"Thank you for delivering yourself to me so conveniently."
"One hundred million Berries. I will gladly accept it."
A cold smile appeared on Alvin's lips.
Under Vlad's terrified gaze, Alvin twisted his wrist sharply.
The crimson blade of Chronicle sliced cleanly across Vlad's neck.
His head separated from his body instantly.
