Chapter 225 - OPHK: Chapter 225

WOOOOM…

Kizaru's right leg, blazing with golden radiance, slammed hard into Tyrael's right hand, pushing the angel onto the defensive.

But just as Kizaru prepared to press his advantage, Tyrael reappeared atop a distant iceberg with impossible speed.

Kizaru and Kuzan descended from the sky, quickly dispatching the lesser angels swarming around them, before turning their gaze fully toward Tyrael.

"I believe I understand the situation now," Kizaru said.

"His attacks rely mainly on that greatsword of his, his ability allows him to teleport instantly, and his movement speed is simply outrageous!"

"Hmm… but I suspect it's not quite that simple," Kuzan replied. He paused briefly, then looked toward the orange‑armored angel currently clashing with Garp.

"And as for that one…"

"Who knows~?" Kizaru drawled. "Inhuman strength, and that charge of his is incredibly fast too."

Just then, Issho stepped off a floating chunk of rock and drifted upward until he hovered about five meters above the pair.

"Both are terrifying foes indeed," Issho said.

"But with Vice Admiral Garp holding that orange one in check, he should be able to keep him contained. However, our numbers are being overwhelmed across the entire field. It is time we called Fleet Admiral Kong to bring reinforcements."

"Agreed…" Kuzan nodded solemnly. He looked back toward Tyrael, who flickered constantly from place to place.

"That white‑winged one is a nightmare — appearing and vanishing non‑stop. You may be fast, Kizaru, but his is true instant relocation!"

"Leave this 'white birdman' to me and Kuzan," Kizaru declared. He shot toward the mountain peak at the absolute limit of his own speed.

Even if I can't match his speed… what choice do I have? We just have to fight. If we lose this time, it won't be for lack of trying!

"I really am not cut out for such high‑energy battles… but what can you do…" Kuzan muttered with a frown, beginning to channel ice energy for long‑range attacks.

"Ill‑suited as I am to fighting speed‑type opponents, I shall leave him in your capable hands," Issho said.

He began manipulating gravity to lift the rock beneath him and move away from the main fight, then suddenly added, "Vice Admiral Kuzan… did you notice something? That ultimate technique used by the Angel of Eternity…"

"Ah… I did notice something peculiar about it," Kuzan replied, his expression turning grave as his body shifted into its elemental form.

"But now is hardly the time to discuss it. The battle continues."

"I shall go reinforce the units currently being overrun, and await the arrival of Fleet Admiral Kong's support."

Issho soared upward until he was hovering directly above the center of the battlefield.

Although he could not see faces or details, his senses perfectly pinpointed Grimm's exact location.

At that moment, deep within the formation, Grimm had taken a ruby‑encrusted chair from his system storage — the very one he had brought back from Mary Geoise — and was sitting comfortably with his legs crossed, positioned like a supreme commander behind the legions of angels.

"How very strange…" Issho murmured to himself.

"Ever since he summoned this vast army, he sits in the center like a true Overlord. Does he truly believe… he no longer needs to lift a finger himself?"

Issho's reasoning was certainly sound.

Even Kuzan and Kizaru, two of the Navy's strongest, were struggling against Tyrael, who moved faster than light itself. Garp was fully occupied holding back the Archangel of Valor.

While the Navy still had other Vice Admirals and Rear Admirals in the field, who could guarantee that Grimm didn't have more aces up his sleeve?

Between the five colossal ten‑meter tall dual‑winged angels and the overwhelming sheer numbers of the host, the admirals and generals had their hands full just surviving.

This angelic army had already inflicted catastrophic damage. At this rate, it was only a matter of time before the Navy was completely routed.

"No time to worry about the 'Overlord' right now. I must focus on preserving our forces until Kong arrives…" Issho calculated.

Suddenly sensing a spike of lethal intent, Issho drew his blade in a blur, cutting down two lesser angels that had lunged at him from behind.

When the bright blue signal flare — the color representing the Navy — exploded in the sky, Kong immediately led five thousand of his remaining ten thousand elite men straight into the battlefield.

Yet the moment he saw the scene before him, even he was left speechless.

What kind of power is this?

He had heard rumors that Gecko Moria — one of the Worst Generation — possessed the ability to raise an army from the dead, allowing one man to fight like a legion.

But what was happening here was entirely beyond comparison.

Kong shook his head to clear his mind of distractions, raised his hand, and roared: "ADVANCE!"

"Meteor — Iron Fist!"

Garp shouted, dropping from the sky like a falling star and driving a heavy punch directly into Imperius's back, smashing the archangel deep into the earth!

"COUGH!"

Garp gasped for air, shaking his aching fist. Standing beside the cratered ground where Imperius lay buried, he panted heavily. "Damn… this guy… he really can take a beating!"

Suddenly, Imperius roared from below: "You like flying through the air, do you?! Then I'll give you a ride!"

In an instant, Imperius shot up from the ground, grabbed Garp by the collar, and turned into a blazing comet wrapped in fire, rocketing straight up toward the heavens.

In barely a second, Imperius had carried Garp five kilometers into the sky!

"Now… witness the wrath of the Archangels!"

Three seconds later —

BOOOOOM!!!

The entire island shook violently once more. Imperius had driven himself and Garp straight back down, slamming them into the ground with such force that the landmass itself split completely in two, cracked right down the middle!

Garp was embedded deep in the chasm, blood streaming down his face, his clothes torn and tattered rags.

Imperius pinned Garp's face firmly to the ground with one hand.

"HAHAHAHA… not bad at all!" Garp roared, completely ignoring his injuries.

He slammed a heavy punch straight into Imperius's face, sending the archangel flying backward nearly a kilometer!

Hovering in mid‑air, Imperius couldn't believe it. This mortal took that full‑power strike and acts like nothing happened?! He really is incredibly durable!

Imperius steadied himself and prepared to dive back down to continue the assault.

"Vital Strike!"

Fleet Admiral Kong, steel‑bodied and indomitable, leaped over the front lines.

Just as Imperius began his descent, Kong drove a fist hardened with Armament Haki straight into the angel's helmet!

Imperius was sent flying once more. While tumbling backward, he spoke with unmistakable disdain.

"Mortal… I acknowledge your strength. I shall withdraw for now to regroup and rest."

His body dissolved into golden light and vanished.

"Ah… so you finally showed up…" Garp shook his hand out, glancing up at Kong who had just landed beside him.

"Looks like we managed to drive that one off for good! Hahaha!"

"You chased away one enemy… what are you so happy about?" Kong replied sternly.

Truth be told, his own hand was throbbing in pain. Truly terrifying defensive power… I hit him as hard as I could right on the helmet.

I don't know if I gave him a concussion or not… but my hand certainly hurts like hell!

"This is an ability completely beyond expectation… and our casualties are already devastatingly high."

Kong's expression turned grave. "Where is Grimm?"

"Deep within the ranks. Seems he's content acting as commander. He probably thinks there's no need for him to dirty his own hands in a situation like this."

Kong narrowed his eyes and scanned the battlefield carefully.

Finally, deep behind the vanguard of the angelic host, he spotted Grimm — legs crossed, leaning back comfortably, casually drinking a beer.

Quite the relaxed attitude! …And where exactly did he get that beer from?!
