The forest trembled around us, mist curling like living fingers. The predator's glowing red eyes stared from the shadows, massive and ancient, calculating its next strike. My hands flared instinctively, fire coiling like serpents, claws sharpening. Nyx roared inside me, raw and untamed, every instinct screaming for battle.
Nyx: "Lyra… mine… no one touches us. I will tear it apart!"
Kael: "Yes… protect her! Claim her! She bleeds fire… she burns!"
Darian's golden eyes locked onto mine, shadow rippling around him like liquid night. "Together," he murmured, voice low and commanding, teeth brushing my jaw.
"Lyra… Nyx… fight with me… with Kael… always together. Nothing can touch us."
I shivered, heat crawling up my spine.
My heart pounded as Nyx surged forward, claws slicing through the mist.
The predator lunged, massive paws slamming into the ground, claws glinting like obsidian.
Darian moved beside me, shadow coiling protectively, Kael growling deep and possessive.
Kael: "Mine… all of her! Claim her! Protect her!"
Nyx: "We are fire… we are shadow… we are hers!"
Our attacks were synchronized, an unstoppable storm of shadow and fire. I felt Darian press close, body moving with mine, guiding, protecting, possessive.
Every brush of his arm, every golden gaze locking with mine, made my blood burn hotter than the fire Nyx wielded.
The predator roared, staggering back under the force of our assault, but it circled again, smarter, hungrier, more dangerous. It wasn't just a beast it was ancient, intelligent, and it knew Nyx, knew Lyra, knew the bond we shared.
"Lyra… Nyx…" Darian whispered, lips brushing my temple. "Do you feel it? The fire… the hunger… the bond?"
"Yes," I gasped, claws digging into the earth, fire coiling around my arms. "I feel it… all of it… and I… I need you!"
Kael: "She wants it! She's mine! Take her! NOW!"
Darian: "Patience… control… together."
The predator lunged for the third time, massive claws aimed for me.
Nyx responded instinctively, twisting, claws slicing, fire erupting from my arms. Darian's shadow met my flames, Kael's raw growl vibrating through the energy, our attacks merging into one unstoppable force.
The predator screamed, staggering, but its red eyes glowed brighter it was calculating, not beaten, testing us, pushing us to our limits. My chest heaved, body trembling, fire and shadow still surging through me.
"Lyra…" Darian murmured, teeth brushing my jaw, lips grazing my ear. "You… you're incredible.
Both of you… Nyx and Lyra… fire and shadow… mine… ours."
I trembled, heat burning through me, blood racing, as Nyx roared inside me, coiling with Kael's hunger and Darian's possessive dominance.
I wasn't just fighting I was claiming, protecting, and burning for them in return.
Nyx: "We are hers… and she is ours… forever!"
The predator lunged once more, and this time, Darian pressed me into him, shadow flaring violently, Kael growling deep and low. I let Nyx take control, unleashing a wave of fire and shadow that struck the predator squarely, sending it crashing through trees and mist, stunned and staggering.
We stood, chests heaving, bodies trembling from the sheer intensity.
Darian's golden eyes softened, lips brushing my temple, teeth grazing my jaw. "Lyra… Nyx… mine… always mine… always ours."
Kael: "Mine! ALL of her! She burns for me!"
Nyx: "And we burn for her… for us… together!"
But the forest was silent now, heavy, watching.
The predator's red eyes glimmered from behind a fallen tree it was wounded, yes, but it was not finished, and its hunger for Lyra and Nyx, for the fire we wielded, was far from sated.
I could feel it in my bones the predator wasn't just a foe.
It knew us… it knew Nyx… and it would stop at nothing to claim what it believed was its own.
