A dim voice and a blurry vision.
"Hey?? You wake up!"
Syd slightly opens her eyes.
"Oh! You're awake."
"Hm…where are we?? And….WHERE is John??"
She tries to get up quickly.
"Hey there calm down, Syd."
"Where is John and Angela ?!"
"We are in…well a place called 'Heavenly Rimora". It's a type of Rimora which is set in future and there are some change in this world. Call it a parallel universe…"
Syd rolls her eyes.
"Is this thing really common?? Us teleporting here and there randomly??"
"No. It wasn't like this. Well, not until you and John showed up."
Syd tilts her head in confusion.
*sigh*
"I just want to go back….if not then at least get stronger in this world and try to go back."
"It is okay…I know one day you will become the strongest."
He gives a very natural smile.
Syd looks around a bit.
(He must be joking….this place looks exactly like Rim-!?)
"Wow! This world….is such a beauty."
Syd sees a world.
A big white castle, beautiful roads, lightened shops, carts going around, people chuckling and taking walks, their clothes giving a sense of royalty.
The beautiful blue sky and sparkling blue water were giving the place a medieval vibe.
"Yeah, it is the 'Heavenly' Rimora after all."
Syd couldn't keep her eyes off of the sky and the grass ground she was lying on.
Daniel's tone suddenly changes.
"But. This wasn't like this before. The sacrifices this place has asked for….sometimes I feel like if it was worth or not."
"W-what happened before??"
"One day, you will get to know about it yourself."
"Huh?? What are you a prophet or something??"
*chuckle*
"No I'm not."
He gets up.
"Lets get going then!"
"Where??"
"I don't know."
He looks in the beautiful sky.
"Where the wind takes us."
Meanwhile John is on the ground with severe injuries.
The sky is red.

Blood crawls up his mouth.
"O-or at least you were, until you met me."
The goblin soldier, who is on par with the sixth commander is on his knees.
"M-my lord…"

John lies on the ground and gets in his deep sleep.
After 5 days, he finally got his sleep.

He is on the boat with fog around and now HE is the one in Angela's lap.
He embraces his luck and looks around.
He sees the soldier.
(I just caught him off-guard. I didn't know he had his own veil.)
John gets a flashback.
When he fought with the soldier.
He imbued his dagger with poison and rushed towards the soldier.

Goblin used earth magic and sent John flying in the air.
Without wasting a second, John opened his veil in the air.
His veil completed as soon as he touched the ground.
Sharp ice shards started shooting out of thin air on the soldier.
100 ice shards were shot at him.
Blood dripping from soldier's body.
"My Lord…this won't be enough to take me dow-?!"
"Soldier vomits a lot of blood.
"Are you sure about that??"
*smirk*
John added poison on his ice shards before shooting.
Soldier gets furious.
(Not many people can do it! How did he…is he really that strong?!"
"Veil of the Soldier!"
John's eyes widen as he sees soldier open is veil as well.
(Crap! His level his higher. My veil will-!)
Both of their veils clashed, but due to level difference John veil broke instantly.
John gets trapped in soldier's veil.
(Oh I'm done for!)
John's mouth fills with blood.

Soldier's veil breaks as well because of John's poison damage.
John gets unconscious.

Angela calls John. His flashback ends.

Angela's intimidating mana could be sensed by John.
(I can feel her mana. So that means, I can absorb mana from anything I touch?? Should I test it on her…??)
John puts his hand on her lap.
Angela punches him.
