Chapter 502 - Chapter 571

"Unique Domain, Purgatory."

Zeke gazed at the lustrous red glow hovering above Satanʼs hand.

Something was visible inside the sphere shining with red light.

Zeke peered inside and was astonished.

Countless beings writhed in agony amid the flames.

Zeke looked at Satan with a bewildered expression.

"Is this your unique domain?"

All the unique domains he had seen so far were spaces where time stood still, devoid of life.

Yet Satanʼs unique domain contained a city that burned endlessly, along with the suffering souls within it.

Satan opened his mouth as he regarded Zeke.

"Zeke Draker, do you know what a unique domain is?"

Zeke pondered Satanʼs question before he slowly replied.

"I understand it as the most optimized space for manifesting the inherent power of a beingʼs soul."

When Zeke recited the definition of a unique domain as he had learned from the system, Satan chuckled at the answer.

"A very textbook response. Then let me ask again. Do you know how a unique domain is created?"

Zeke couldnʼt answer Satanʼs question.

Even through the system, he hadnʼt been able to learn how to create one.

He had absorbed beings who wielded unique domains before, but he could only take their authorities.

Unlike authorities or skills, unique domains couldnʼt be absorbed, so he hadnʼt been able to manifest them.

Zeke looked at Satan and said.

"I donʼt know."

"I like your honesty. In truth, a unique domain is an advanced concept that only higher beings beyond human reach can manifest."

"That means... only constellations can manifest them." Satan nodded.

"In the strictest sense, yes. But even those who arenʼt constellations—transcendents or beings with divinity—can create their own unique domains."

Indeed, Chaos, who had attained the rank of evil god, could manifest a unique domain using his clones.

'The unique domain he manifested was a barren wasteland with nothing in it.ʼ

Those with divinity as strong as the constellations of the thirteen palaces could probably create an entire city as their unique domain, but for an evil god who had only just touched upon divinity, that wasteland seemed to be the limit.

As he reflected on what he had seen in the past, Satan spoke to Zeke.

"To create a unique domain, one must know oneself well. A unique domain directly reflects oneʼs inherent qualities."

He looked at the orb glowing on his palm and continued.

"My unique domain, Purgatory, is the same."

At those words, Zeke shifted his gaze from the orb to Satan.

"Judging by your unique domain, it seems you like burning everything." Satan shook his head with a self-deprecating smile at Zekeʼs words.

"Thatʼs not it, Zeke Draker. My quality is regret and self-reproach. This form is the moment I regret and torment myself the most."

Zeke suddenly recalled something at Satanʼs words.

"Could it be that this Purgatory... records the moment of Babelʼs fall?" Satan nodded at Zekeʼs question.

"I have witnessed everything from the birth of this world beside the Primordial Light until now. And in that vast span of time, the moment I regret the most is this one, held in my hand."

Satan gazed at the tormented souls in Purgatory with solemn eyes.

Zeke felt a pang of pathos watching him, but he quickly shook his head to dispel it.

'Get a grip. Heʼs the worst of demons. I canʼt let myself get distracted by this.ʼ Zeke looked at Satan and said.

"So, what is the arrangement you intend to give me? Are you going to tell me what my unique domain is and how to create it?"

Satan shook his head at that.

"No one can create a unique domain for another. You must discover it yourself. Itʼs one of the conditions for becoming a true constellation with a constellation title." He looked at Zeke and added.

"You havenʼt attained complete divinity yet, so you havenʼt received your constellation title."

Zeke replied to Satanʼs words with a nonchalant expression.

"Iʼd receive the constellation title once the conditions are met by fully absorbing you, but since youʼre still wide awake in my abyss, thatʼs that." Satan laughed heartily at that.

"Puhaha! You really are entertaining, Zeke Draker."

After his hearty laughter, Satanʼs expression softened into a faint smile.

He glanced at Purgatory on his palm.

"My unique domain, Purgatory. Iʼll give it to you." Zeke furrowed his brow at Satanʼs words.

"Didnʼt you just say with your own mouth that a unique domain is an inherent quality that canʼt be created by proxy?"

"As with all things in the world, there are always exceptions." Satan shrugged and continued.

"Upon rummaging through your memories, I found you possess something quite useful."

"Do you know what invading privacy means? Well, youʼre a demon, so you probably donʼt care."

Woooong!

Satan smirked at Zekeʼs grumbling and gestured with his hand, causing something to appear between them.

The artifact that materialized was none other than the "Primordial Jar." Satan smiled as he looked at the pure white jar.

"I didnʼt expect you to have something like this. Zeke Draker, it seems youʼre blessed with karma."

"Itʼs the result of diligent gacha pulls. But what does this have to do with unique domains?"

Satan looked surprised at Zekeʼs words.

"You mean youʼve been carrying this around without even knowing what it is?"

"I searched the Akashic Code, but there was hardly any information, so I just kept it. It said I needed divinity to open it."

Satan clicked his tongue at Zekeʼs indifferent response.

"This is likely the last remnant of the Primordial Light left in this world." Zekeʼs eyes widened at Satanʼs words.

"The last remnant of the Primordial Light..."

"How shocked I was to learn you had this after being absorbed by you. It forced me to revise my plans considerably."

"Hmm? Didnʼt you have the authority of re-creation? You could just make one yourself using karma if needed." Satan shook his head.

"Even with my power, creating this is impossible. If it were, the restrictions of causality preventing the sun god from intervening in the phenomenal world due to sanctions wouldnʼt exist."

A remnant of the creator god that even the authority of re-creation couldnʼt produce.

Zeke looked at the Primordial Jar with renewed interest.

"Then what exactly is inside this jar?" Satan grinned and said.

"Weʼll find out starting now."

Zeke shook his head at Satanʼs words.

"I havenʼt attained divinity yet, so I canʼt open..."

Woooong!

Suddenly, the Primordial Jar emitted a brilliant white light and began to vibrate.

Satan looked at it and said to Zeke.

"Zeke Draker, you already possess sufficient divinity. You simply havenʼt realized it yet."

"What? I havenʼt fully absorbed your soul yet. What are you talking about?" Satan gazed intently at Zeke.

"Do you really think that?" Tssst...

In that instant, Satanʼs form began to change.

His face soon became identical to Zekeʼs.

The only difference was the demonkind eyes burning red instead of the dragon eye.

Zeke stared in surprise at Satan, who now mirrored his own face, then murmured as realization dawned.

"So my soul has already fully absorbed yours..."

"Yes. If anything blocked it, it was none other than yourself, unable to accept the fact."

Absorbing the soul of Satan, who had lived through eons, was too much for Zeke, a human, all at once.

Thus, to protect his sense of self, Zeke had unconsciously separated Satan from himself.

Now understanding this, Zeke looked at what was essentially another projection of himself in Satan.

Woooong!

The Primordial Jar between the two Zekes emitted a dazzling light.

Satanʼs self said to Zeke.

"Zeke Draker, accept me fully. Through this, you will truly qualify as a constellation." Satanʼs self placed his hand on the Primordial Jar.

Zeke hesitated for a moment, locking eyes with his other self in Satan, then slowly extended his hand as if resolved.

Woooong!

His hand touched the glowing Primordial Jar.

At the same moment, the jarʼs lid opened, and a massive light poured out from within.

Various messages appeared before Zekeʼs eyes.

[The rank of the powerful soul possessing divinity was unlocked.]

[Your incomplete divinity stabilized.]

[Due to divinity stabilization, you fully absorbed the elder dragonʼs seal stone.]

[All special skill proficiencies rose to expert level.]

[The user, The Undying, attained complete divinity.]

[Qualifications met; the Primordial Jar opened.]

[Your soul was exposed to the power left by the Primordial Light.]

[The ineffable power permeated The Undyingʼs soul.] Woooong!

The light bursting from the jar enveloped Zekeʼs body.

At the same time, Satanʼs self was wrapped in the light and absorbed into Zekeʼs body alongside it.

Zeke felt an urge to let go of everything and surrender to the comforting warmth embracing his soul.

Then Satanʼs voice echoed in his mind.

—Zeke Draker, do not be deceived by the light.

In that instant, Zeke resisted the serenity of the light and regained his senses.

He focused on the power, attempting to fully accept its source permeating his soul.

Another message appeared then.

[The unique authority full recovery reduced the shock.]

[The unique authority infinite breakthrough accepted the ineffable power.] The light from the jar intensified.

[The Undyingʼs strong will activated the authority fortune.]

[Under fortuneʼs influence, the optimal outcome for the user was derived.]

[The power left by the Primordial Light reacted with the glory of the sea god, companion of the forest, and guardian of the earth.]

[The power left by the Primordial Light reacted with the titles he who inherits the radiant light, blessing of the fairies, and blessing of Theia.]

The titles Zeke had received from the divine dragons whose seals he broke, along with those related to fairies and divinity, reacted to the light from the jar.

Woooong!

The light, which seemed eternal, fully permeated Zekeʼs body.

At the same time, new messages appeared before Zeke.

[The Primordial Jar bestowed the unique authority '???ʼ as an inherent authority upon The Undying.]

[Through the unique authority '???ʼ, you fully absorbed the power of the powerful soul 'Satanʼ.]

[In accordance with the will of the soul 'Satanʼ, its power was transferred to The Undying.]

[You acquired the unique authority 're-creationʼ from the soul 'Satanʼ.]

[You acquired the unique domain 'Purgatoryʼ from the soul 'Satanʼ.]

[You had fully inherited the power of the soul 'Satanʼ.]

[You had completed the mission of the final arc scenario (chapter of the fallen constellation).]

[As a reward for the final arc scenario, a constellation title was bestowed.]

[Karma designated The Undyingʼs constellation title.]

[The new constellation title 'He Who Surpassed the Wallʼ was updated in the Akashic Code.] Woooong!

In a momentary explosion of immense light, the Primordial Jar vanished.

Once the light faded completely, only Zeke remained in its place.

Thanks to the unknown authority granted by the Primordial Jar, he had fully inherited Satanʼs power.

Then Satanʼs voice echoed in Zekeʼs mind once more.

—Zeke Draker, savior who resists fate. May my power aid you, even if just a little, in the cruel destiny before you...

With those words, Satanʼs voice fell silent forever.

Having attained complete divinity, Zeke fully absorbed Satanʼs soul and felt to some extent the weight of the eons he had lived.

"I canʼt utilize all that information and power yet."

He turned his head to gaze at the angels of the Gemini Palace, still sealed. "But I think I know what to do with you all." Tssst...

Shadows flowed from Zekeʼs body, enveloping the angels of the Gemini Palace.
