"What the hell?" he repeated, this time slower, like he was trying to process what he just heard.
He leaned back slightly in his chair, eyes shifting between Seraphine, Selene, and Kael—who had just stepped in behind Marcus, still looking half-rested but far from fresh.
"…No," the guildmaster said, shaking his head once. "That's not possible."
The room fell quiet.
Not tense.
Just… confused.
Seraphine didn't react.
"It is," she said simply.
The guildmaster leaned forward this time, resting both hands on the table.
"…The Red Dragon subjugation was classified as a government-mandated S-level threat," he said. "Even with your party involved, the expected completion time was at least several days… with potential casualties."
His eyes narrowed slightly.
"And you're telling me you finished it overnight?"
Selene crossed her arms.
"We didn't take a break," she said.
