On the other stood the ultimate dark horse, a team of "monsters" who had defied every expectation and crushed every obstacle in their path.
On the stage, the seven members of Spirit Hall stood opposite the seven from Shrek. As they ascended, the referee's voice rang out: "Prepare for the match. Both sides, release your Martial Souls."
The fourteen participants locked eyes in silence, but the collision of their auras caused the tension to skyrocket instantly.
The Spirit Hall team moved almost in unison. Surging soul power erupted from their bodies. Xie Yue, Hu Liena, and Yan stood at the front, each shimmering with the optimal configuration of two yellow, two purple, and one black soul ring. However, Hu Liena was surprised to find the Shrek team unmoved. Aside from Tang San, the other six members had closed their eyes and plugged their ears, completely cutting off their sight and hearing.
Though Hu Liena hadn't fought yet, Grandmaster Yu Xiaogang had spent nearly two months in Spirit City collecting data. While the Golden Generation's details were top-secret, Grandmaster still held an Elder's Token from the Hall of Elders. Combined with his past connection to Bibi Dong, he had managed to gather critical intel.
Back on the field, any charm skill requires a medium—be it sight, hearing, taste, smell, or touch. Hu Liena's primary influence relied on sight and hearing, so Shrek's calm counter-measure effectively neutralized her opening.
Seeing Hu Liena initiate, Tang San stepped forward with a smile. Purple light swirled within his black pupils as he unleashed a concentrated gaze.

Her expression shifted as she began to move in earnest.
Simultaneously, Tang San caught a pink glow thrown by Oscar from behind—the Stimulating Pink Sausage. He swallowed it and stepped forward, hoisting his Clear Sky Hammer.
Hu Liena watched him coldly. Her five rings flickered in a rhythmic sequence: fifth, fourth, third, second, and finally the first. This wasn't a simple release of skills but a specialized "ring fusion" technique designed to maximize the output of her soul power.
At that moment, Xie Yue moved. He held dual Moonblades—blood-red, crescent-shaped, curved blades. He lunged forward, but instead of attacking Tang San, he collided with his sister from behind.
Two beams of golden light shot from the scepter of the Spirit Hall support soul master, merging into the siblings. A red curtain of light manifested and expanded. As Xie Yue and Hu Liena's bodies collided, the light enveloped them, exploding outward like an expanding orb that covered nearly half the stage, swallowing the Shrek team within.
Tang San was still ten meters away when the shroud hit. With the support soul master's boost, the light reached its peak state instantly.
Spirit Fusion Skill: Charm Demon, activate.
A Spirit Fusion Skill performed by two Soul Kings was a different beast entirely from a standard fusion. As the Grandmaster had warned, for a short duration, its power was comparable to a Rank 70 Soul Saint.
