After he said that, he left the dining area. Livia was left sitting there, stunned, with her heart racing. She clutched her chest, feeling like her heart was about to burst out.
"What...did he say?" she asked the air, not really expecting an answer.
But Lilly responded, > "He will help us, Livia," and Livia could hear the happiness in her voice. > "Someone is going to help us. He won't let us die in this battle, Livia."
Lilly was happy, and Livia was happy for her too. Since Lilly was happy about the Lycan King's words, Livia would hold onto his promise and hope he would keep it.
Livia composed herself and wiped away the tears from her face before leaving the dining area as the servants entered.
They all bowed, and she furrowed her brow, wondering why. They were the ones who had been discussing her issue earlier.
