After Alaric's run in the forest, they quickly returned to the main house. However, as they walked back, they were greeted by the familiar scent of Livia, which they had become acquainted with when they first saw her at the party.
They also noticed that the sliding door leading to the veranda of her room was open. Alaric decided to transform into his human form and headed inside the main house to Livia's room.
Aldus knocked on the door a few times and slightly brought his nose closer to the door to sniff if Livia was inside.
> "Just open it, I can't feel they're inside," his wolf said, so he opened the door.
However, what greeted him was an empty room, with no Livia sleeping in the bed. Aldus immediately went to the veranda to gaze into the forest.
> "Maybe they took a run," Alaric suggested, but Aldus didn't respond, as his attention was focused on the forest.
He can feel there is something wrong.
