Beta's voice pulled him back. Aldus blinked and looked up to find the entire council staring at him, confusion in their eyes.
He straightened, adjusting his posture on the throne, his expression unreadable.
"The trial will proceed only when Luna and her wolf recover. She cannot be dragged before the court in her condition."
The room fell silent, then slowly heads nodded in agreement. No one dares to speak, they are all aware of the situation of the Luna.
"Furthermore," Aldus continued, his deep voice firm.
"Inform the Alpha of the Moonlight Pack that the trial will conclude before the competition begins. For now, Luna must be allowed to rest. She has not been able to connect with her wolf. That alone is enough to weaken her spirit—and it is our duty to give her time to heal."
His eyes swept over the room, sharp and commanding. No one dared argue, cause they'll know how to shut their mouth if they don't want to face the Lycan King's wrath.
