Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: A Romantic Moment on a Dragon

"Yes, I'm fine... But are you okay?" Dannep asked, taking Ilyss's hand.

She felt uncomfortable, she was afraid of the woman standing in front of her, but that woman had come to save her.

The memories of her sisters abandoning her were something she had always carried in her mind; she had always thought no one would abandon her.

Dannep also felt a weight in her heart knowing that perhaps Sister Layla had not abandoned her because she couldn't, or because she depended on her.

Dannep remembered that now that Cythian was no longer paying for her sister's treatments, she had to please Ilyss as much as she could.

Even if she was a fucking psychopath, even if she was a monster, Dannep would be willing to be her toy.

"Yes, darling, I'm fine. You have no idea how worried you made me. Come, let's go," Ilyss said, taking Dannep into her arms.

"Hey, I think I can walk on my own," Dannep huffed, blushing.

"Oh really? Go on, move an arm," Ilyss said with a playful tone.

In response, Dannep pouted, knowing she couldn't do it because her muscles hurt.

Ilyss already understood that, and that was why she had carried her.

"Hey... How did you get kidnapped? Why did you leave the restaurant?" the queen asked as she lifted Dannep onto the dragon with her.

"Ah, I didn't leave on purpose. Apparently there was a girl who needed help and I went to help her, but it turned out to be a trap. I'm sorry for being a bother, I know I shouldn't have done that."

Dannep explained, full of shame. She was aware that what she had done wasn't right; she was a servant, she didn't make decisions.

But in response, Ilyss stared at her in a strange way. It was a warm look that Dannep had never seen from her before.

But instantly she returned to her seductive gaze, bringing her face closer to Dannep's.

"No!" the latter shouted, turning her face away.

"If you're going to kiss me, at least clean your face. I don't like it," she said. She was still afraid of seeing Ilyss like that.

"Ah... I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Ilyss said while wiping all the blood from her face.

"Better?" A wide smile formed, reaching Dannep's heart.

The words "Kill her" passed through her mind. Ilyss might know something about her, but why did she have to kill her? Dannep still wanted to understand what was happening with those dreams.

At first she thought it was just a dream and that was it, but after trying the spell earlier, there was a possibility that it was real.

But right now she didn't want to think about that, and she looked directly into Ilyss's eyes, giving her permission to kiss her.

Ilyss leaned closer and kissed Dannep while Blueryth rose toward the moon, giving the skies only to them.

Ilyss didn't let go of Dannep's lips while playing with her hair; she was delicate and gentle, knowing Dannep was injured.

It was the latter who pulled away, blushing. She didn't understand what she was doing.

"You kiss me and then go to sleep with Yumi? It doesn't feel right. I know I'm only your servant, but..." Dannep said, looking for an excuse to push her away.

Ilyss moved closer to Dannep in response, laying her down over the dragon's scales and starting to touch her skin beneath her dress, making an opening.

Without warning she bit Dannep hard, making her shudder.

"Ah! What are you doing?" she moaned, hitting Ilyss.

The queen smiled and moved her hands to Dannep's abdomen, making another opening.

She looked directly into Dannep's eyes and bit her abdomen again, leaving another mark.

"Two bites. I usually only give Yumi one, you have two. You matter more than Yumi. I love you, Dannep," Ilyss said, hugging her.

Dannep felt strange. It was strange. This woman was strange. She was strange. She shouldn't feel happy because of such strange words.

When her sisters talked about true love in their stories, they never talked about being with a woman, and much less with someone who had sex with another person.

"But we can keep it a secret for now. I... I don't feel comfortable making Yumi feel bad."

But Dannep felt good. Maybe it was the effect of Ilyss having saved her, or maybe she was just very hurt and couldn't think clearly, but she wanted to try.

"Fine, I'll do what you say then."

Ilyss brought her mouth down toward Danne's legs, ready for action, but the latter closed them instinctively.

"Not yet!" Dannep shouted, blushing.

"Let... I don't know, let me heal at least, and I don't want... I know you're the queen... but I don't want it to be on top of your dragon and... you have to be more gentle."

Dannep tangled her words while speaking, turning to look away.

"Hahahahahahaha"

Ilyss began to laugh in response before lying down on the dragon with Dannep.

"Alright, alright, let's watch the stars, but promise me that next time I want to do it you'll let me," the demon said with her smile.

"I... yes, I promise next time you can do it," Danne said, turning her face to the side.

"Hey Dannep, you've talked a lot about your sister Layla, right? Next week I have to go to Viremonth for Cythian's birthday. We could go a few days earlier so I can meet her."

Dannep's eyes lit up instantly. It had been two months since she had seen her sister Layla, and she still had to tell her what had happened.

"Yes, please, I want to go, I want to go," Dannep said excitedly.

"Besides, I want her to see that I can use magic. I want her to see that there is a solution," Dannep thought as she began to close her eyes.

It seemed her body was beginning to relax and all the pain and exhaustion were winning.

Ilyss moved closer so she could lean on her, then gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"You didn't even look at the stars," Ilyss said to the Dannep who was asleep beside her.

"Wow, bringing her to Viremonth was really quite easy."

Ilyss said to herself as she took a pendant out of her pocket.

She had found it when she had dismembered the body of the leader of the Black Thorns.

It was a deep purple sea pearl, a stone that could only be obtained in the kingdom of Viremonth.

"Oh little Cythian, I must admit it was a desperate move, I almost didn't find her," Ilyss said while looking at the pendant.

The only reason she had been able to find Dannep was thanks to the surge of mana the girl had released. Ilyss already knew that unique mana beforehand, so she knew it was her.

When she sent people to investigate Layla, she realized several interesting things. First, the so-called Sister Layla had no records of her life for the last 30 years; it was as if she had appeared three years ago.

This surprised Ilyss quite a bit, but they were still investigating her. The other thing was that despite cutting her relationship with Dannep, Cythian had paid the doctor for Sister Layla two more years of service and had gone several times incognito to visit the church just to see her.

So Ilyss was able to deduce that Cythian Viremoth was in love with Dannep, but she did not expect her to make such a sudden move like the one today; this put her plan in danger.

"Don't worry, little Cythian, I already have her permission. I'll give you a birthday present you will never forget," she said while looking at Dannep.

"I will prove that Dannep is only mine."
