For the next three days, Damon rested in some nearby apartment building and waited for his injuries to heal. He left very rarely, only to grab some essentials like food or water, but other than that, he remained in bed and allowed his body to heal.
On the morning of the fourth day since they left the hospital, the pain finally felt manageable.
"Morning~" A soft voice purred from the other side of the bed.
While looking for a place to rest, the only apartment that seemed usable enough had only one bed. Fortunately, it was a king-sized bed, so there was enough space for both of them to sleep without stepping into anyone's personal space.
Kitsune, however, didn't care for things such as personal space. More than that, she was also wearing the nightgown she had found a couple of days ago, one that certainly wasn't made for sleeping.
