Kaelen was stunned at the screen before him he thought he was hallucinating as to what he was seeing, he rubbed his eyes with great force and opened them again but the screen didn't disappear still displaying the same message.

Of course yes, no wasn't even a thing to think about the screen closed, the players they say status to look at their stats right?
As soon as he thought of the word status a screen appeared in front of him with was blue and it read

Kaelen was confused by his skills. He knew that awakened people often times awakened multiple active and passive skills but this some how felt different.
He then proceeded to click the floating blue screen where his unique skills was as soon as he clicked on the skill a description was loaded.
[Skill swap (level 1): You can swap a single active or passive skills with anyone of your alters for 30 minutes.]
[Cool down period: 30 minutes]
Kaelen wasn't particularly smart it took him a few seconds before he realized that his personalities had awakened skills of their own.
A porter watching Kaelen asked
"Are you ok? You are just standing there frozen." He asked.
The still stunned Kaelen replied with a hesitant answer
"Yes I am fine just a little tired."

He reached his house after collecting his payment. He started talking to his personalities or alters as he called them.
"Do you understand what this means." Kaelen said excitedly his excitement didn't know any bounds
"No I need a explanation dumbass." Varkas said in a cranky way that even an old man would find surprising.
Varkas was the second alter that Kaelen had created. The reason for the creation of every alter was not known to Kaelen he knew a little bit about Varkas because of Lucian, Lucian described Varkas as a hot headed idiot and it was pretty evident.
"Basically each one of you have a unique ability and I can use one of you guy's ability for 30 mins every 30 minutes." Kaelen said in a crude way.
"Oh I see" Varkas said in a hesitant tone he didn't understand what Kaelen had meant but his ego would not let him say no.
"No you don't see." Lucian said from the same mouth
"Ok, but what skills did I get, swap with me." Varkas said excitedly.
"Let me at least check my passive first." Kaelen muttered since he knew if they really wanted they could forcefully switch out.
"Go ahead." Lucian said which was the first time Lucian seemed kind.
He summoned the blue screen Infront of him each time was still as amazing as the first. Kaelen clicked on his passive skills as the screen changed.
[Invincible: When the player's health reaches 5% the passive is activated which grants immunity to all sources of damage for 5 seconds.]
[Cool down period: 24 hours]
"Isn't that like really shit, just five seconds I mean if you are already low on health while fighting someone won't they just kill you after the five seconds are over." Varkas said in a stroke of genius
"I think you don't understand how important those five seconds can be." Kaelen barked
"Well I don't care now let me check my set of skills." Lucian said rapidly as he switched his body with Kaelen

Lucian checked his unique actives description
[Imitation (level 1): You are able to copy normal skills of any person after you see that skill three times, the skill that is copied is a rank lower than the original skill and the skill should be the rank of the users to be copied]

"Ok, so basically we can't copy any skill until we rank up thats what its trying to say." Kaelen had lost interest in Lucian's skill because of such restrictions.
Varkas spoke up giggling "More like limitations." He was proud of his bad joke ignoring him they loaded up Lucian's passive.
[Cold hearted: You are able to perfectly control you emotions and are able to maintain a level head in brutal situations]
Kaelen rubbed his temple with his fingers before speaking up "So basically you're passive is just you without your passive."
Lucian said nothing as they moved on and checked Varkas's skill set

Varkas looked at the description of the skill he possessed it read
[Fighting spirit (level 1): When ability is active for every percent of Health Points you lose you gain half a percentage of Strength, Endurance, and Agility. The skill can be activated for 5 minutes]

"Thats leagues better than what Lucian got stand proud Varkas you are better." Varkas snorted to himself.
He loaded the description of his passive ability

"Well that explains absolutely nothing." He switched with Kaelen
As he skimmed through the list of abilities of his alters Kaelen felt overwhelmed at the amount of possiblilties he saw but what caught his attention the most was that the number nine was missing he counted again "Seven, eight and ten? Where is nine?"
"What do you think these numbers mean Lucian?" Kaelen adjusted his position on the couch
"I don't know maybe a sort of serial number?" Lucian aswered with another question.
"That cant be it since the number nine is missing." Kaelen said as he made himself question as to why nine was missing making it even more weird.
But putting his thoughts aside Kaelen was beyond excited because this was one of the first time the alters had actually helped him in something.
He had heard of people who were able to obtain multiple passives and actives but they were extremely rare and most of them acquired new active skills after ranking up but he might have been the first to awaken 9 active skills.
Now Kaelen is going to turn his life around and live a eventful and luxurious life.
"How?" Said a grainy voice
"By climbing the tower Tristan."
