Lucien walked into the king's private training ground just as Enzo's sword cut through the air with terrifying precision.
The king didn't stop, even though he knew Lucien was there, he continued with his training.
His movements remained smooth and controlled, every strike carrying enough force to split the thick wooden training post before him. Sweat glistened across his bare chest, but his breathing remained steady, his expression unreadable.
Lucien waited until Enzo completed another series of strikes before speaking.
"My King, the scouts have returned." Enzo lowered his sword and turned to face him.
"They've picked up her scent."
For the first time since Lucien arrived, Enzo's expression changed ever so slightly.
"What route exactly?" he asked.
"The eastern route," Lucien replied. "The trail leading to Moon Valley."
Enzo stood quietly for a moment, his sharp gaze fixed on the map Lucien unfolded before him.
