"That day you arrived at the market, where was Sera?" Enzo suddenly asked Lucien after Linda and Lily left the room.
Lucien frowned as he thought back to everything that had happened that day.
"To be honest, I don't know. I was too busy making sure Lady Arabella stayed alive that I completely forgot about her. Why do you ask?"
Enzo leaned back in his chair, his fingers tapping lightly against the desk.
"I can't seem to get over something Marvin told me. He said he mind-linked the Gamma before he mind-linked you. That means Sera knew Arabella had been kidnapped."
Lucien's expression darkened.
"Yet she never came to the scene. She didn't even join the rescue mission. We were all so focused on getting Arabella back that we completely overlooked that."
"Are you saying..." Lucien trailed off, unable to finish the sentence.
