I woke up early the next morning and left my room to look for Linda. She had told me the previous night that she would be waiting for me at the training ground. I was still surprised when she said she wanted to train me publicly.
As I made my way toward the training ground, I noticed that wherever I passed, the maids seemed to shrink back. Some lowered their heads in fear, while others stared at me in awe. There were still a few who openly looked at me with disgust, just like they always had, but I chose to ignore them.
Right now, I didn't even know what my place in the palace was anymore. Everything in my life had changed so quickly.
My thoughts drifted to Enzo, and I sighed.
