Enzo watched her walk past him and smirked.
He had done what he did for two reasons. First, to make her understand that she belonged to him, that his word was final, and that she could do nothing unless he permitted it. Second, he had seen the way some of his soldiers looked at Arabella. He was simply making it clear to them that anyone who decided to grow a pair and go after his woman because of their stupid thoughts would have their head served on a platter.
As for Elara, he couldn't care less.
In fact, he had been pleased when he saw Sophia pounce on her. He and Lucien had deliberately taken their time getting there so she would be beaten enough, since that was exactly what she had been asking for. Knowing Elara, she had intentionally allowed Sophia to beat her up for a reason.
When Arabella and Sophia were far enough away, Enzo turned to Elara, who was dusting the dirt off her clothes.
