"What would happen if they all found out that you are playing all of them, including Arabella?" Lucien asked.
Enzo leaned back in his chair, his expression surprisingly calm considering the question.
"When we get there, we would find a solution. For now, let's focus on our dinner and the meeting we are having with Cedric," Enzo said.
For some reason, he couldn't wait for Cedric and asked the maids to bring the food out so he and Lucien began eating.
Enzo was already halfway through his meal when the guard announced Cedric's arrival.
"Here we go again," Enzo muttered.
He wiped his mouth with a cloth before adding, "Let him in."
The doors opened, and Cedric Alistair came in.
He bowed to his King. "Greetings, Your Majesty."
Enzo smiled.
Most of the few encounters he had had with Cedric involved the young Lord being mischievous, just like the last time he took Arabella out hunting. Even then, Enzo had known exactly why Cedric had wanted to spend time with her.
