"What did you say to me?" she asked again, her voice clipped.
"I saw Lady Arabella enter the citadel with the King on her back. They headed towards the lake," she said, pointing towards the Goddess Lake.
Sera was shocked at the mention of Enzo. Her heart pounded loudly enough that she could hear it.
"Enzo was with them?" she asked as she walked closer to Seraphina, taking her hands in hers.
Seraphina nodded. "He was unconscious. Lady Arabella was carrying him on her back," she added before yanking her hands away from her.
"That bitch," Elara muttered. She looked around and noticed that, for some reason, the crowd had stopped shouting.
"Let's go," she said, and they all left the podium with everyone still shouting, excluding the witches. Elara knew that she could not charge headfirst into a fight with Arabella and her crew, so she stopped at a distance and turned to the crowd.
"The witches with me," she said.
