Sienna Blackwell died on Thursday night.
Just this afternoon, she was coming back from her routine prenatal checkup with a big grin on her face. She was eight and a half months pregnant and couldn't wait to meet her child.
"You and your baby girl are doing just fine, Mrs. Blackwell," That was what her gynecologist had told her.
She got out of the car and headed to the front door.
"Oh! Ah! The doggy style is my favorite, love…" A familiar voice from upstairs made Sienna Blackwell stop in the doorway.
With a frown, she closed the door behind her and handed over her purse to her house help, "Who's upstairs?" She asked her casually, taking off her coat, not quite sure why the lady was avoiding eye contact.
"DON'T STOP! YES! HARDER!" The shrill screams and loud moans reached her ears, and Sienna realized it was Ruby.
"Didn't I warn her not to bring men to my house? Ever!" She muttered in disgust and started climbing the stairs. Taking the stairs as a heavily pregnant woman wasn't easy.
Placing a hand on her protruding belly, she kept going up slowly.
The baby in her belly was no less than a miracle. She conceived her after four long years of an abusive marriage.
Tom abused her emotionally, financially, and physically. But ever since she got pregnant, he had changed.
Two years ago, after a fight with her husband, Ruby showed up at her place in tears. Being a kindhearted bitch Sienna took her sister in, knowing full well that her little sister was a bigger bitch than her.
The only person she was scared of was her husband, who never liked anyone visiting her.
Against all odds, Tom didn't mind at all. In fact, he welcomed Ruby with open arms. Seeing them getting along so well made all her worries evaporate in thin air.
Good things are coming my way! Finally!
Placing her hand on her belly, she whispered to her little one.
She was right. Good things were coming indeed.
But not for her.
"HARDER! FASTER!"
Her sister's sandpaper-like voice echoed through the hallway as Sienna approached the room and was horrified to find it was coming from her bedroom.
The one she shared with Tom.
How dare she!
Without giving it a second thought, Sienna turned the knob and pushed the door open, only to find her sister on her bed on all fours, moving with a frantic urgency.
Wild and unrestrained.
And the one behind her was …
A gasp tore Sienna's lips before she could stop herself. Her husband Tom… who thought of Ruby as his little sister, was inside her, with his hips moving like a maniac.
Their moans and grunts were making her sick to the stomach.
Sienna felt her throat getting dry as she tried to speak. Ruby turned her head to look straight at her with a sarcastic smirk, but didn't feel embarrassed by what she was doing.
"Tom!" Sienna managed with a hoarse whisper, "Wh… what… what is going on here?"

Sienna Blackwell wanted to do nothing but crumble against the wall. However, it was not the time to show weakness. She tried to ignore the excruciating pain in her lower back that was increasing with each passing minute.
Ignoring her, Tom and Ruby were getting dressed as if nothing had happened.
As if she wasn't even there.
As if they were an old couple, used to this intimacy.
And then it dawned on Sienna Blackwell. This was not their first time. They had been doing it for a while, right under her nose. Under her roof. In her bed.
Silly her!
She had thought that Tom had accepted Ruby as a family member.
All this time, when she thought he considered Ruby as his sister, the bitch had been living under her roof as her husband's mistress.
"Why?" Sienna confronted her husband in a teary voice, "Why, Tom?"
After pulling up his jeans, Tom made a face and lit a cigarette, "It's not rocket science, Sia. Your sister tastes better," He finished with a shrug.
What?
Could he stoop any lower?
"And don't pretend that you're a saint, Sia," Her sister gently pressed her fake nail to Sienna's cheek, "We already know that the baby in your belly isn't Tom's."
How dare she!
Before Sienna could stop herself, her hand rose and struck Ruby's cheek with full force, taking her by surprise. She never raised her voice, let alone her hand.
None of them was expecting this kind of reaction.
"Sienna! Are you crazy?" Tom shouted, but Sienna didn't even look at him.
"Did you just call my baby a bastard?" Sienna's tears stopped instantly, her voice dropping to a hiss near Ruby's face, "Say it again and I'll eat you alive!"
This Sienna was not Ruby's sister, nor was she Tom's wife. Right now, she was only a mother who wanted to protect her child and her identity as Tom's heir.
She turned to Tom, who seemed frustrated and was now taking a puff from his cigarette, maybe secretly happy that the two women were fighting over him.
"This baby," Sienna's voice choked with tears as she placed her hand possessively on her belly, "Is very much yours, Tom. I made a mistake. I thought the baby would change you, but…" She squeezed her eyes, "Oh, God. What have I done?"
"Nope!" Ruby spoke again, ignoring the stinging on her left cheek where Sienna had just slapped, "That little monster in your belly isn't Tom's… however…" She gently placed her hand on her flat stomach, a mocking smile curled on her lips, "This one is his…"
Sienna frowned and turned her head towards Tom, who was still standing there quietly, "So you screwed my sister behind my back, got her pregnant, and now you two are trying to pin your cheating on me? Wow!" A cold chuckle escaped her mouth.
The pain in her lower belly was getting stronger with an odd pressure in her pelvic area.
No. This must be a nightmare. This can't be happening. I thought Tom had changed for good.
The tears started rolling down her cheeks. This was getting too much.
"Thomas Blackwell. Y…You never deserved… my … love…" She gasped when a warm gush of water suddenly spilled down her legs.
"Uh huh… her water broke…" Ruby informed Tom and then scrunched her nose, "Should we take her to the hospital?" She purred, approaching him with a side smirk and then, with a chuckle, slammed her lips against his.
None of them seemed interested in taking Sienna to the hospital.
Sienna couldn't stand the sight. Her numb body slid down against the wall.

"Congratulations. I'm now the aunt of a baby girl!" Ruby announced as she stepped inside the operating theatre along with Tom, "It's good that they didn't stitch back her belly after taking out the baby. Look at the blood-soaked sheets under her. Ha-ha."
Sienna placed her arm protectively around her little daughter over her chest.
What is Ruby saying? Doctors didn't stitch my belly and left me here to die? To bleed?
That explained the pain she had started feeling as anesthesia slowly started wearing off.
Her daughter deserved a loving home and doting parents. Sienna made a grave mistake of bringing a child to her messed-up marriage, thinking that everything would change for good. She should have walked out of this marriage a long time ago.
Seeing Ruby and Tom standing there with those evil grins plastered on their faces was enough to tell her, she had failed her daughter.
When Ruby headed towards her, Sienna's arm tightened protectively around the little body on her chest, which was gradually getting colder.
That reminded Sienna that her daughter never cried after birth. With a frown, she looked down at her daughter, who seemed to be turning blue.
"D…doctor…" She swallowed hard, "Please call the doctor…"
Ruby bent down, bringing her face closer and made a pout, "I am so sorry, Sienna. She is no more, sweetheart," Sienna's eyes snapped to Ruby's face, "And soon…" She batted her lashes with fake innocence, "Soon, you'll join her, too, love. This poison is taking time to work on you … but eventually…" She trailed off, letting the silence finish the threat.
Sienna thought she had heard her wrong. She tried shaking her daughter a bit.
"This is what you get for slapping your little sister, love," Ruby whispered, "Before you leave… There is one more surprise, big sister. Papa is alive."
Sienna's eyes widened in shock. Three years back, Papa had a heart attack, and he died. Now Ruby was telling her…

Her gaze shifted to Ruby's face, who was looking at her. She nodded with a smirk and straightened. Sienna had now realized that she didn't have time
"Say your goodbyes and come soon, my love," Ruby kissed Tom before leaving the OT, "We need to set the nursery for our little one," Once she left, Sienna heard the clicking of her heels fading on the tiled floor.
