Hunter headed out to the backyard facing the sea, where he could see Sienna seated on the lounge chair with a laptop on her lap.
"Hey, sugar. I was thinking maybe we could…" He trailed off as a slow smile spread across his face. Sienna was asleep in the chair.
Her laptop rested half-open on her lap while her head leaned to one side awkwardly. A few loose strands of hair danced around her face due to the wind.
Today, he left office late, and she must have accidentally fallen asleep while waiting for him. He walked towards her quietly, almost afraid to wake her.
For a few moments, he simply stood there watching her. How innocent she was. And how vulnerable she looked.
Just this morning, she was telling him with a pout how Lina wasn't responding to her text messages.
