Along the way, Dan Feng and Roxy talked about many things. He recounted every story the Dragon God Orsted had told him.
These stories gave Roxy an entirely new understanding of the world and made her realize it was far more complex than she had ever imagined.
After hearing everything, Roxy spoke to Dan Feng with gravity and sincerity: "Dan Feng, you must never get involved in these matters. Battles between god-level beings—we should stay as far away as possible. I really don't want to lose you." Her words carried deep concern for him.
Hearing this, a warm current surged through Dan Feng's heart.
He felt Roxy's affection for him and replied solemnly, "Don't worry. I have no intention of getting mixed up in things that have nothing to do with me. No matter which side it is, I bear no grudge against any of them. I won't wade into this muddy water."
Roxy smiled with relief upon hearing Dan Feng's words. She continued, "Dan Feng, it's wonderful that you feel this way. We'll just live our lives peacefully and ignore all those complicated matters."
However, when Roxy mentioned the word "lifetime," Dan Feng's mind suddenly flashed back to what he had heard from Orsted about Roxy's future in other loops.
He hesitated for a moment but ultimately decided to tell her. Softly, he asked, "Do you want to know about your future?"
"Huh?" Roxy froze upon hearing Dan Feng's words, looking at him with a slightly dazed and adorable expression.
"I heard from Orsted about you in his previous several loops."
"Me? What was my future like?" Roxy asked curiously.
"In the Dragon God Orsted's other loops, you remained single your entire life, though you became a renowned mage."
"Ah? That can't be possible, right? Then what about you in those other loops?" Roxy was surprised by her own fate in those other loops and immediately asked about Dan Feng in them.
As long as Dan Feng was there, how could she possibly remain single? Could it be that other loops had no Dan Feng?
Hearing Roxy's question, Dan Feng pondered for a moment and decided to reveal his secret to her. He spoke slowly, "Roxy, there's something I want to tell you."
"Actually, I don't belong here. It was an accident that brought me to this world." Dan Feng's calm voice reached Roxy's ears. These words left her even more astonished.
"Ah! Dan Feng, you're not from this world?"
"That's right. I'm not from this world. That's why in Orsted's other loops, there was no trace of me. But this time, because of my intervention, your fate has been altered." Dan Feng's voice remained calm, as if he were describing something perfectly ordinary.
He looked at Roxy, feeling a slight unease in his heart, unsure whether she could accept such a truth.
After all, coming from another world was not something anyone could easily comprehend.
Yet Roxy's reaction was beyond what he expected.
She did not show excessive surprise or fear. Instead, she quickly composed her shocked expression and became very serious.
"You're Dan Feng, right?" Her water-blue eyes stared straight into Dan Feng's as she asked.
Dan Feng nodded. "I am Dan Feng. What's wrong?"
Roxy gave a slight smile and said, "Then there's no problem. As long as you're Dan Feng, that's enough. No matter what I was like in other loops, at least the me right now belongs to you. That won't change just because you're not from this world."
Her tone was extremely firm, warming Dan Feng's heart.
"After all, you have so many incredible abilities—it's perfectly reasonable that you're not from this world. As long as you're Dan Feng and I'm Roxy, none of the rest matters." Roxy continued.
"I won't feel lost or confused because my future has been changed by you. It will simply become different from before because of your presence."
Listening to Roxy's words, the faint unease in Dan Feng's heart gradually dissipated.
He suddenly felt that no matter which world he came from, as long as they loved each other, none of it mattered anymore.
"So don't worry. As long as you don't abandon me, I won't let go." Roxy showed a sweet smile, expressing her innermost feelings. Whether from this world or not—as long as it was Dan Feng, it was fine.
"I would never do something like that." Dan Feng said earnestly.
"With Dan Feng's personality, of course you wouldn't."
...
A few days later, Dan Feng and Roxy arrived once again in Roa of the Asura Kingdom.
After leaving the snowy regions, the sunlight felt somewhat uncomfortable on their skin.
They headed to the Adventurers' Guild here to submit the Red Dragon subjugation request and, while they were at it, sell the Red Dragon's corpse to the guild.
When they presented the Red Dragon's body, every adventurer present was stunned.
A Red Dragon was a legendary creature, and these two had brought the corpse of an adult one. In a city like Roa, this was utterly shocking.
"Dear adventurers, please wait a moment!" The staff member stared in astonishment at the mountain-like pile of Red Dragon corpse parts before him.
After a brief moment of shock, he hurriedly ran into the back room.
Not long after, the staff member returned quickly, leading a middle-aged man.
The middle-aged man was tall and imposing. His black mage robe only enhanced his commanding presence—he was clearly the resident mage stationed here to prevent trouble.
After all, Roa was still a city under noble rule.
Yet even someone as experienced as he could not help but draw in a sharp breath upon seeing the piles of Red Dragon corpse parts.
Under normal circumstances, not to mention adult Red Dragon parts—even juvenile Red Dragons were exceedingly rare.
But now, such a massive quantity of adult Red Dragon parts lay right in front of him—it was impossible not to be shocked.
Dan Feng looked at the middle-aged man expressionlessly. "We want to sell all these Red Dragon parts. Can your guild take them?"
The middle-aged man's gaze swept over the Red Dragon remains. Though shocked inwardly, he maintained composure on the surface.
He quickly nodded and said, "Of course, of course we can take them. However, with this much Red Dragon material, it may take us a little time to process."
Dan Feng gave a slight nod to show he understood.
After all, acquiring such a large quantity of Red Dragon parts was no simple task.
Still, he wasn't in a hurry. He and Roxy had nothing else pressing to do anyway.
"We're not in a rush. Take your time." Dan Feng said calmly. Then he and Roxy found a place to sit down and quietly waited for the middle-aged man's processing results.
