Chapter 121 - Chapter 121: Filled to the Brim with Gold Coins

During the wait, adventurers' gazes would occasionally drift toward Dan Feng and Roxy.

The large pile of bags beside them was simply too conspicuous.

When they learned from others that those bags contained a Red Dragon, their expressions instantly turned solemn, as if an invisible pressure had descended upon them.

They no longer dared to look at Dan Feng and Roxy with ordinary eyes, fearing that any rudeness might offend these two people capable of slaying a Red Dragon.

Time passed quietly. Suddenly, a burst of noisy clamor came from outside the Adventurers' Guild.

This commotion piqued the curiosity of some adventurers, who got up and headed to the entrance to see what was happening outside.

The moment the door opened, a powerful visual impact hit them head-on.

Parked outside the Adventurers' Guild were numerous ornately decorated carriages, each exuding an air of extravagance—at first glance, clearly noble-owned.

One after another, figures stepped down from the carriages.

Each person carried exquisite treasure chests in their arms, the surfaces of the chests faintly glimmering with golden light.

Under everyone's stunned gazes, these seemingly servant-like individuals gently placed the treasure chests inside the Adventurers' Guild hall.

Without exception, these servants were all beast race members, and their presence made the scene even more eye-catching.

At that moment, two figures dressed in luxurious attire slowly entered the Adventurers' Guild.

One of the men appeared to be in his forties, with dark brown hair that carried a faint trace of the vicissitudes brought by time.

The other man looked much younger, only in his twenties, with tea-brown hair that gave off an elegant impression.

Their arrival turned the already lively Adventurers' Guild even more boisterous.

"It's Sauros Boreas Greyrat, the lord of the Fittoa Region! He actually came to the Adventurers' Guild—how rare. Could it be for buying those Red Dragon parts?"

"What you're saying is obvious. Why else would the lord come to the Adventurers' Guild?"

They were Sauros Boreas Greyrat, the lord of the Fittoa Region, and his son Philip Boreas Greyrat.

Seeing the mage lead these two noble-looking men inside, Dan Feng stood up from his seat with Roxy.

"Lord, these are the two adventurers who slew the Red Dragon." The mage introduced them.

"Haha, I noticed these two adventurers with extraordinary presence right away. To think you're young yet capable of slaying a Red Dragon—truly promising youths!" Sauros did not put on airs upon seeing Dan Feng and Roxy; instead, he showed his casual side.

Sauros then extended his hand, shook Dan Feng's, and continued, "I am Sauros Boreas Greyrat, lord of the Fittoa Region. This is my son Philip."

"Greetings, Lord Sauros. I am Dan Feng, and this is my lover, Roxy Migurdia." Dan Feng said calmly, also introducing Roxy beside him.

"Alright, Father, we can handle introductions later. Let's get straight to the point." Philip had been squinting the whole time. He looked at Sauros and reminded him.

"We want to buy the Red Dragon corpse you hunted. What do you think?" Philip wasted no words and asked Dan Feng directly.

Dan Feng glanced at Philip's narrowed eyes. He could sense that this Philip was not as gentlemanly as he appeared on the surface—there was a faint hint of cunning.

Dan Feng replied calmly, "How much are you offering?"

"One thousand five hundred Asura gold coins." Philip stated bluntly.

"Hiss!"

The people around them drew in sharp breaths upon hearing the exchange, stunned by the sheer amount of gold coins. Most of them had never seen so much money in their lives.

"Deal." Dan Feng said indifferently. Honestly, Philip's offer far exceeded his expectations—he hadn't thought an adult Red Dragon could be worth this much.

The corners of Philip's mouth curved up slightly. He gave a signal with his eyes to the beast race servants, indicating they should bring the treasure chests over.

Though he was squinting, the beast race servants were well-trained and immediately understood their master's intent. They swiftly and orderly carried the treasure chests in front of Philip and Sauros.

Philip nodded in satisfaction, then led Sauros toward the area filled with bags.

As for why nobles like them chose to conduct business in the Adventurers' Guild—there was deeper meaning behind it.

First, such a public setting allowed them to display noble dignity and presence, leaving a strong impression on everyone present.

Second, by interacting with these adventurers, they could use word of mouth to quickly spread news that they had acquired materials from an adult Red Dragon's body.

Adult Red Dragon materials were extremely rare and precious. Once word got out, it would inevitably cause a huge stir.

At that point, nobles who needed such materials would naturally come knocking, and Philip could resell them at a high price.

Alternatively, he could have the materials crafted into extremely powerful magic tools and offer them to the next king in exchange for greater power and status.

Philip knew very well that within a few years, the struggle for the throne would erupt.

Though Sauros was a capable lord, choosing neutrality was not a wise decision.

If Sauros wanted to elevate the Boreas family's status, he had to gain power—and the only way to do so was to support one side and win in the throne struggle.

While Philip was lost in these thoughts, the beast race servants had already opened the treasure chests one by one, revealing the Asura gold coins inside.

In an instant, dazzling light burst forth—the unique radiance of gold coins.

"Dan Feng, we're not dreaming, right? With so many gold coins, won't we be set for life?" Roxy's eyes widened, filled with astonishment.

"Put them all in your scroll. At least now we won't have to worry about money." Dan Feng said calmly.

Roxy then took out her storage scroll and placed all the treasure chests inside.

The small scroll was now completely filled to the brim with gold coins.

Meanwhile, Sauros and Philip were touching the adult Red Dragon's scales, their hearts filled with awe.

"As expected, the scales of an adult Red Dragon are worlds apart from a juvenile one's. If made into magic tools, they wouldn't start at less than a thousand gold coins, right?" Sauros carefully felt the adult Red Dragon's remains.

"If turned into armor, perhaps even a Sword Saint couldn't cut through it." Philip said slowly. After all, it was said that only emperor-level mages could contend with an adult Red Dragon.
