Chapter 122 - Chapter 122: First Learning of All Martial Proficiency

Afterward, Dan Feng and Roxy left Roa and headed toward royal capital Ars to visit Bloody Kant.

Mainly because Roxy missed Bloody Kant, so Dan Feng accompanied her. After all, a teacher for a day is a father for life.

Traveling by carriage from Roa to Ars would take about a week.

During this time, Dan Feng began learning All Martial Proficiency for the first time. After that, the High Elder 'Dan Feng' no longer appeared in the space—instead, new figures emerged.

For example, the first time he chose to learn swordsmanship, a completely unexpected man suddenly appeared out of thin air.

He was a tall young man dressed primarily in black, accented with ghostly blue and dark gold. He had teal-green hair with red-dyed tips and red eyes.

His right hand wore a black glove, with bandages wrapped around his right arm, left hand, and right thigh. He held an ancient sword covered in shattered cracks, his entire presence exuding a weathered, tragic air.

He was Blade.

Seeing the person before him, Dan Feng couldn't help but freeze. His mind quickly flashed through his current appearance, and a foreboding feeling instantly rose within him.

"Heh heh heh, you've finally come!" Blade looked at Dan Feng, the corners of his mouth twisting into a ferocious grin.

Dan Feng replied expressionlessly, "You've got the wrong person..." Yet before he could finish, a sword had somehow already appeared in his hand.

"No, I absolutely won't mistake you—Imbibitor Lunae... it's time for you to pay the price!" Blade's gaze sharpened. He let out a mad laugh like a frenzied beast and lunged straight at Dan Feng.

In an instant, Blade's fractured sword streaked forward like lightning, aimed directly at Dan Feng's face.

Dan Feng dared not slack off in the slightest. He quickly raised his sword to block with all his strength.

A crisp "clang" rang out as the two blades met, sparks flying.

Dan Feng felt an enormous force travel through the sword, numbing his arm.

Blade's face was practically pressed against Dan Feng's. His expression was vicious as he gritted his teeth and roared, "Think you can escape?"

Dan Feng inwardly groaned in distress. He never imagined the system would arrange things this way—having someone with a deep grudge against the High Elder 'Dan Feng' teach him swordsmanship.

Worse still, he knew next to nothing about swordsmanship and was relying purely on his superior physical strength and quick reflexes to fend off Blade's attacks.

How could someone who had barely touched a sword a few times possibly beat someone who actually knew swordsmanship?

Soon enough, he was pierced through the heart by the fractured sword and vanished from the space.

Then, in reality, his understanding of swordsmanship increased slightly—that was the benefit brought by the Learning Insight Space.

...

Several days later, sunlight bathed the land of the Asura Kingdom as Dan Feng and Roxy arrived once again at royal capital Ars.

Without pause, they headed straight to the place where Bloody Kant had lived a year ago.

"It's you two!" The inn landlady called out upon seeing them.

"Landlady, is Bloody Kant-sensei still staying here?" Roxy asked.

"Yes, same old room."

"Thank you."

With the information, the two headed toward the stairs and quickly went up.

On the third floor, Dan Feng and Roxy heard voices talking inside the room.

"Then I'll leave it to you, Bloody Kant-sensei!" A familiar voice came from within. Roxy was certain it belonged to Arlelia—Bloody Kant's editor.

With a creak, Bloody Kant's door opened, and Arlelia stepped out.

Upon noticing the two people outside, Arlelia exclaimed in surprise, "Oh! Roxy and Dan Feng!"

She was startled to see Roxy and Dan Feng standing at the door—after all, Bloody Kant had told her the two had gone to Ranoa Magic University.

"Miss Arlelia, is Bloody Kant-sensei inside?" Roxy asked.

Arlelia nodded. "Yes. Go on in, you two. I need to take the manuscript and head back first."

With that, Arlelia left.

"Sensei, we're coming in." Roxy called into the room as she led Dan Feng inside.

The room looked exactly the same as before. Bloody Kant sat in a chair, looking at the pair with curious eyes.

"Isn't this during school term? Why did you two come all the way to Ars?" Bloody Kant asked, sounding puzzled.

"Sensei, it's like this—we needed materials for a magic circle, so we took leave to obtain them." As Roxy spoke, she casually removed the hat from her head—the very one Bloody Kant had given her before.

Dan Feng also found a chair and sat down.

"What magic circle materials? Something that required coming all this way?" Bloody Kant asked.

"Red Dragon blood."

"Huh?"

Afterward, Roxy told Bloody Kant everything about the magic circle and the process of hunting the Red Dragon.

Of course, she omitted the parts about the Dragon God—matters involving the Dragon God and Human God weren't suitable to share casually, lest others get involved.

Bloody Kant was quite shocked to hear that Dan Feng had killed a Red Dragon. She turned to look at him and said, "You've grown to that level already?"

Before Dan Feng could reply, she turned back to Roxy with a teasing smile and said bluntly, "So, little Roxy, did you seize the chance? A man this powerful doesn't come along often, you know."

Hearing Bloody Kant's teasing, Roxy's small face flushed red. She shyly replied, "Dan Feng and I are already lovers..."

"Oh my, you're pretty sharp—knowing how to hold onto such a fine man." Bloody Kant praised Roxy, which only made her even more embarrassed, to the point where it felt like steam was rising from her head.

"Hey, Sensei, don't say it like that! We fell for each other naturally! It wasn't me 'seizing' anything!" Roxy protested.

"Alright, alright, I get it. Now hurry up and tell me about your experiences together!" Bloody Kant's face lit up with gossipy excitement.

So Roxy once again recounted the story she had embellished into something divine, telling it all to Bloody Kant.

Before long, Bloody Kant unconsciously broke into an aunt-like smile.

After all, listening to young people's love stories was quite enjoyable.

Dan Feng simply sat quietly listening to their conversation, his heart calm as ever. He had long grown accustomed to being teased.

While they chatted, Dan Feng silently went to Bloody Kant's bookshelf and took down the books on magic circles he had read before.

He planned to let Roxy look through them—perhaps they could help her.
