Chapter 7 - Six Eyes Lv.2

A terrifying azure vortex manifested once more, swallowing everything in its vicinity.

The moment he unleashed the Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue, Aurelius Viremont felt a profound shift. The energy in his body rapidly converted into Cursed Energy, draining at an accelerated rate. What used to be a singularity the size of a pineapple had expanded to the size of a basketball.

Naturally, with increased power came a much heavier cost. But the performance of the Level 2 "Blue" did not disappoint. The azure black hole streaked toward the Lizard at twice its previous speed.

The Lizard instinctively sensed mortal danger, but at such close range and against such velocity, evasion was impossible.

From her vantage point, Gwen witnessed a gruesome sight: the Lizard's body twisted violently as muscle, bone, and skin were forcibly dragged toward its center. The azure singularity punched through the monster's chest, relentlessly consuming its mass until nothing remained.

Even after devouring the Lizard entirely, the vortex didn't stop. it continued to suck in the air, the pavement, shattered bricks, and even a nearby streetlamp.

To Gwen's horror, the singularity began drifting toward her. Severely injured and unable to move, she could only watch as death approached. Against the Lizard, she had felt defiance; against this absolute void, even the ability to think began to fade. The azure light swallowed the world, leaving her mind a complete blank.

However, just as the suction began to lift her body and the vortex was only meters away, it vanished into thin air.

Gwen gasped for air, her lungs burning. She had never been so close to death—or so utterly helpless. Is this truly a power that a human can wield?

Aurelius Viremont looked at the spot where the Lizard had vanished and smiled with satisfaction. The growth of "Blue" was even greater than he had anticipated. At this rate, by Level 4 or 5, he would reach Satoru Gojo's original output. Beyond that, he would become something far more powerful than the original template.

As the dust settled, Aurelius Viremont turned his attention to his "friendly neighborhood" Spider-Woman. She had succumbed to her injuries and lost consciousness. Through the Six Eyes, he could see her internal state: multiple fractures and slight internal bleeding.

He knew she possessed a healing factor and would likely recover on her own, but this was Hell's Kitchen. The battle had undoubtedly drawn many unwanted eyes. While Aurelius Viremont didn't consider himself a "good person," he didn't want to see a character he had liked in his past life die right in front of him.

Using the Six Eyes to scan her body with anatomical precision, Aurelius Viremont used his hands to reset her displaced bones, ensuring her healing factor could work more efficiently.

On a whim, he reached up and pulled back her hood and mask. A stunningly beautiful face was revealed—short blonde hair and delicate features. It was indeed Gwen Stacy, but she was even more striking in person than in any movie or comic.

Suddenly, Gwen's eyes snapped open. Finding herself in the arms of a handsome man, she was momentarily dazed. Once clarity returned, she instinctively leaped out of his grasp, performing a backflip to put several meters of distance between them.

However, her injuries caused her movement to falter. She landed awkwardly on the ground before scrambling back to her feet.

"You... you... you..."

Gwen stood shakily, realizing her mask was in the man's hand. She touched her face, her heart sinking. Her secret identity had been exposed! Oh no, what do I do? I just started being Spider-Woman, and I've already been found out!

Aurelius Viremont was surprised she had regained consciousness so quickly. Her healing factor is no joke. He dangled the mask in front of her. "I didn't expect our neighborhood hero to be so young. You're still in school, aren't you?"

"Why... why did you take off my mask?"

Aurelius Viremont tilted his head and gave her a brilliant smile. "Is it not allowed? My apologies. If you're that upset, you could always try to hit me."

Gwen: "..."

Having seen him erase the Lizard in seconds, she knew the power hidden within this seemingly slender man. She was in no position to challenge him.

"Why did you kill Dr. Connors?" Gwen questioned, her voice tight. "He was only violent because of the serum... he was a good man!"

Aurelius Viremont wasn't surprised by her protest. Her kindness was one of the reasons he liked her character, but he had no intention of being a saint himself. "Because he tried to kill me. If you try to take a life, you must be prepared to lose your own."

Gwen opened her mouth to argue, but the words wouldn't come. From Aurelius Viremont's perspective, it was self-defense. Still, seeing a family friend die before her eyes left her reeling.

"Maybe you're not wrong, but... I think I need to go," she whispered. She fired a web to swing away.

"Your mask!" Aurelius Viremont called out.

Gwen paused mid-swing, hesitated for a moment, and then swung back. She snatched the mask from his hand and bolted. I really want to punch that smug, handsome face, the "righteous" Spider-Woman thought to herself, but considering the power gap... better not.

Watching her disappear into the night, Aurelius Viremont felt that this "isekai" life wasn't so bad. He could interact with his favorite characters, and here, they weren't just icons on a screen; they were living, breathing people with their own fears and joys.

Sensing his energy was low, Aurelius Viremont grabbed a set of severed power lines and began to drain the current.

As he absorbed the power, he used the Six Eyes to manipulate the flow with surgical precision, causing the skill's experience to climb steadily. A few minutes later, a notification popped up.
