Shit. Ming Tao did not want to get up from the bed. Not when he was trying to get Mira to sleep and not when his entire body was nearly crumbling from everything they had just done but he knew he needed to stand up, otherwise that bird would do more than just wake Mira up. It would make a whole lot of noise and on a normal day, that would not be a bad thing, just that the bird has something tied to its foot and was at the Mighty Cheetah's window.
Ming Tao kept on stroking Mira's hair gently. "Darling," he called in a warm tone.
A heavy breath was the reply that came his way. "Mm?"
"I want to get up and go somewhere, but I will be back soon, I promise." Ming Tao stated. He kissed the back of Mira's head and his fingers still threaded through her hair.
"Would you take long?" Mira murmured. She sounded like the only reason she was up was because he was talking to her.
