Just as shin finished slaying the lesser beast, ryiuki arrived and Immediately after, the beast king also appeared from a cave that all the lesser beast seemed to have been protecting,and after puffing out a shot of steam on shin it proceeded to move forward as it seemed to be attracted to ryiuki more than shin.
Meanwhile just as the beast king came out of it's cave multiple screens appereared in shin'line of sight along with meachanical rings

"Now that's what I am talking about"shin said as he dashed towards the beast king who was just meters away from ryiuki.
He knew there would be rewards for leveling up but now wasn't really the time to check all that.
But ryiuki isn't that strong as me and it should have been able to sense that I am more of threat so why should it be going towards him.
Then maybe it's not about the strongest,the beast itself is pretty powerful,then maybe it is just trying to take out the weaker one first before coming for the strong one
If that is the case then I can use it to my advantage.
"Ryuiki,remain where you are and lie the beast in"shin shouted as he stopped in his chase for the beast.
"What,I can't the heat alone is killing me"ryiuki said as he held out his sword in front of him as the beast approached him
Shin understood ryiuki so he started transforming into the Beta werewolf transformation again since the fight would require a very fast ability to be able to avoid the rang of the beast heat wave and to deliver quick attacks on it before it could retaliate.

Ryiuki held his blade firmly and just as the beast was a few feets from him he started running back while looking back to see if the beast would follow it but that wasn't the case as the beast just stood where it was and the the opening of his blowhole horn turned bright red and the part before the opening expanded a bit.
"Don't tell me that thing is confident to fire steam from that far,"shin thought as he could see how far ryiuki was away from the beast's possible firing range

Reacting immediately he dashed towards the beast and making use of his enlarged claws he sliced down his giant claws against the beast's horn region before placing his hand below the horns expanding area and swiped up again willing to shred it in one full swipe but he soon realized that the scale they were also very hard as the claw bounced back and after that the beast's body began to light up and then in one action it realeased a very highly intense burst of heat wave that ended up throwing shin some meters away form the beast while also setting him on fire along side all the space around the beast

Shin was lucky to have the flame resistance skill as it helped reduce the effect of the heat wave on it.Shin then Immediately increased the side of his fist again before charging into the beast heat wave region and just as he stepped in he felt as if he wasn't even using the flame resistance skill as his skin felt like it was burning up but he kept charging forward but just as he was about slashing down at the beast it fired the steam it had been storing up in one powerful stream,towards ryiuki's direction and the attack travelled fast more like a jet of water then steam lighting up everything in it's line of attack

The attack's recoil also seemed to affect shin as it slowed his movement but taking advantage of his transformation he strained his muscles and launched forward again, arriving above the beats with his enlarged claws he swiped them down towards the beast's horn in a large arch using the effect of the speed he had harnessed

His claws immediately got covered in flames and in one heavy slash he was able to leave a dent on the beast's horn,
dropping to the ground he launched forward again slashing aggressively at the beast's horn for a couple of times before retreating as the beast's body seemed to light up again and then it released another wave of heat which caused the floor to start burning.

"The thing doesn't seem to be affected by the heat it is emitting and it has no limit to the amount of heat it can emit,the beast is like a walking diataster,and the more I drag on this fight the more my probability of winning decreases"shin reasoned as he was now fully affected by the heat wave even with his flame resistance constantly draining his energy points, which was just keeping him alive from burning to crisp even if some part of his body was now burning and was causing his health points to reduce at a fast rate
Opening his system interface he was lucky to find that he had been rewarded some stays points for defaeting the cluster of beasts

"Well that should be enough"shin said as he got in a crouching position and focused his sight on the beast that was now moving again towards ryiuki's direction
"Add 4 points to speed,add 4 points to strength"shin whispered and was replied by a meachnical ring.
Ignoring the pain of part of his body burning he strained his muscles and dashed towards the beast
When he was a few meters away from the beast the beasts stinger suddenly emitted steam around itself and became extremely red-hot,it then stabbed toeards shin but shin was able to dodge it by swerving to the left.
The beast wasn't done as it withdrew it stinger and went in for an attack again and again,it continuously tried stabbing shin with the stingers but it wasn't working.
Withdrawing the stinger again it made the stinger grow out more from it's underside and the attacked again but this time shin didn't dodge he vanished

"Let's end this"he said as he suddenly appeared at the point where the stinger came out of the beasts underside harnessing the force of the speed dash he strtched his hands out

Combining all this skill,his hand enlarged and grew more muscular and the with one swipe he cleaved off the beast's stinger.
The beast's body immediately started glowing an intense yellow and soon it emitted a greater amount of heat wave this time,more greater than the previous ones,but shin didn't flinch as he proceeded to clench his hand into a fist activating speed punch again he unleashed a barrage on the side by of the beast's body but the beast body didn't get scratched and in response it's posterior backside flew open and four transparent large wings,two on each side,spread out

The beast then flapped it in a quick manner which blew the heat in all directions,the beast even with it's enormous body was lifted by the wings and when it was some meters above ground it's body began to grow again.
"I am about to be burnt to crisp here,what the hell is this thing,even the ground is starting to melt"shin said as he watched the beast's body glow more but then he saw something and just as he was about to take his next step he seansed something, looking up he figured the beast was now decending with a fast speed towards his direction

Quickly noticing this he dashed out of the way, allowing the beast to slam into the ground,but immediately the beast was about to rise up again shin was already holding it's stinger and now spinning around with it,shin aimed it at the beast and hauled it spinning directly at the beast.
The beast not able to quickly get out of the way got it's horn cleaved off cleanly by it's own stinger.
Seemingly annoyed the beast screeched and Immediately emitted the fourth heat wave and started glowing again as it flew up preparing to unleash another one but shin knowing how dangerous it would be,dashed forward in the hit and grabbed the stinger again.
Shin started spinning it again

Shin was now covered in very hot flames but he bared the pain and with one last heavy spin he threw the stinger towards the beast aiming for the underside as he found that was the only penetrable spot on the beast
The stinger cut through the air with a very fast speed and stabbed into the beast's underside but it didn't stop there as it continued upwards and exited from the beast's upper shell killing causing the beast to screech loudly and it's body began to glow immensely more hotter than any of the former times.
"Shit, don't tell me it isn't dead,"shin said as he started racing out of the beast's territory as the beast was now glowing like a sun in the forest.
And then in a few more seconds the beast body exploded and along with it a large heat wave burst out burning everything in sight, extending some hundred meters around it's territory.
Shin suddenly heard mechanical rings in his hear with multiple screens appearing in his line of sight but he ignored all if them and on instnict he called out flame resistance as he had cancelled it before to avoid it from depleting his energy points fully.
As Soon as he called it a single screen appeared before him.

Shin suddenly felt a warm feeling from his head to his toe followed by a cooling feeling and as the heat wave burned up everything shin was only being pushed back by force of the wave and he was completely unaffected by the heat which made him feel relieved as he proceeded to cancel his transformation.
As the heat wave ended he sat down behind a burnt up tree seemingly tired and opened his system interface,and the first screen he saw made him smile
